Very sad news. Poor little guy.
  2. Ok I personally have no problems with horizontal dropouts. I think this is because I'm not a spaz with a spanner and I like to buy decent parts. The changes in new chains/cogs are very minimal providing you keep the same gear ratio. I don't really think all frames should have horizontal dropouts because they might not suit everyone. I think its nice to have a selection of different frames for people who are decent mechanics and people who arnt so gifted.
  3. I've never had a problem with decent notched snail cams. Smooth ones can be a right pain in the arse. I've just got a Coust V2 which I am very happy with and even though I've not rode it much I haven't had a problem with chain tension. The movement of the rear wheel is minimal when tensioning the chain I really don't think you could notice it.
  4. Nice bike man. Reminds of the Revolution and Evolve days of riding lol.
  5. Stoopid computer crashed. I found that WD-40 made it worse too. It seems to make it sticky. The best thing you can use is magura mineral oil. I've got royal blood in my new magura on my coust (thats just how it came I assume its royal blood) and it feels really nice. It really is a ball ache having to piss around pulling the piston out to lube it all the time and messing about. You have to check and make sure that the piston springs back on its own before you bleed it ideally.
  6. Is the new piston pre 05 from the older style lever? A bit of lube always helps. maybe give it a good clean out aswell incase there's some dirt or something in there.
  7. I've had this problem with a few of my 05 levers the best thing you can do is put a piston from the older model in. It worked a treat for me. I think the newer pistons are just a tiny bit too big and tend to jam.
  8. You're bent. Hahaha only messing mate I just really felt like saying that.
  9. here's a question for you if you drove a car through the sound barrier on a tread mill would there be a sonic boom?
  10. I got adam to post it because he took the pics at tarty bike and my internet has been down. The rear rim might look better un ground but it works a hell of a lot better ground lol. Thanks for the comments anyway chaps. It really is an amazing bike to ride. If anyone is umming and arring about spending out on a full koxx build I say go for it you wont be dissaponted.
  11. Koxx Acid Drop. I think this is pretty similar to what you are after. Not sure if you can get hold of one frame only but a full bike is rather cheap.
  12. Thanks for the comments boys I haven't been able to reply because i've had no internet for 3 days. I'm really happy with the bike it rides amazing feels so comfortable already.
  13. I couldn't agree more. I've got one myself and I frigging love the thing. Its a pleasure to ride. I got fed up of going out riding and trying to tap the same wall for hours on end (i'm shit at tapping) so I decided to get one of these bad boys and I haven't regreted it since. As a rider who's been riding for 8 years myself I think if you have been riding trials since before about 04 this is the kind of bike for you.
  14. I've always gone for 175's myself. I think a lot of people are running 170's now because thats the only size the denganator does? I might be wrong though. Out of interest are we going to maybe be seeing a new pair of cranks hitting the streets?

    Genius

Who is the main offender for that particular spelling mistake? Go on you know you want to find out...
  16. I forgot to mention this was with a water bleed aswell.
  17. I'm always reading things wrong but I don't think i'm dyslexic. I've never been good with english, but I have improved a hell of a lot mainly through using this forum. I don't think people should have a go at someone because they pick up on their spelling mistakes they should just take the advice and try to learn a bit.
  18. All you theoretical boys are logical and sensable but i've actually done it and it worked fine. HS33 Lever on a front Magura louise FR I think it was.
  19. Wake me up when you stop being a tit.
  20. What stops the air rushing down at us then?
  21. I think its a good discussion. I personally don't believe the earth is flat but i've never been into space to have it proven to me. I think a lot of people do hear things and just believe them I'm guilty of doing that myself. Here's an Example. If you drown its not because your lungs have filled with water. The body has a natural reaction to stop your lungs filling with water.
  22. If you don't care don't f**king comment. Its getting on my tits now. instead of helping the lad people just make snide comments. If you don't care for weight saving don't look in weight saving threads. Anyway I cut the inner wall out of a rim by putting it in a vice and cutting from hole to hole with a cutting disc on a grinder. Tthe rim got really hot and it is pretty dangerous so take your time and be careful.
  23. I think the only way to do that is to ride trials.
