  1. thought so, but if you were actually considering buying one..
  2. cheaper here, http://www.vapingproduct.com/authentic-kanger-subox-mini-starter-kit-p-121.html 7 days for delivery. Had a few from them and had no issues yet
  3. Yesterday a friend had a bottle of a legal high vape juice called chronic. Having not had a joint since my mid 20's I was reluctant to try it.. I gave in to peer pressure for one hit.
  4. exactly Each coil you put in reduces the resistance and wattage (per coil) by half, but ups the required voltage and ampage. V/ir.
  5. One or two coils in that case, i think the amp limit on the device is gonna be 15-18 tops. To get 4 coils in measuring .4 will need massive coils or really thin wire, either way approaching or over the amp limit.
  6. Yeah, on a long journey they're a pia. To be fair I use the billow mostly while behind the wheel. I spend most of my day fairly static so dripping isn't an issue. Flavour and cloud is just so much better on my drippers. Quite like the fuss and effort, tinkering floats my boat.
  7. Totally disagree with the previous statement. I've all but stopped using my tanks. For me Rda has the edge atm. More coils is a misnomer.. 100w over 4 coils is 25w per coil, 50w per coil is more likely to get the best temperature for either flavour or clouds. All depends on the available wattage from your device
  8. ribbon instead of round.. rip trippers called it a flat bast but that's a sh1te name from a twat imo, everyone with sense calls it a ribbon Clapton
  9. Am I the only one sad enough to post new builds? Ribbon clapton, 24awg wrapped with .8×0.8 ribbon. 5×3.2mm wraps @.22 very hot vape, hench clouds! Average flavour
  10. My missus has done a few.. same sentiment as above. On a side note though, she had a problem with one company (ics) not singing from the same hym sheet as the awarding body. Resulted in a £450 course and 18 months of hard work being an absolutely pointless exercise. (Cba to elaborate) I'm sure that type of thing doesn't happen often but probably worth knowing what everyone involved wants from you before you commit.
  11. Fair play for quitting, and if you never light up again I take my hat off to you. I'd also be inclined to agree about vapors whom never smoked, but smokers never smoked before they started, even you fell into that trap. Mocking those who vape though.. reminds me of those who said "Internet, meh. It'll never last" or "computers in every home?!, nah". distinct lack of understandig modern times imo
  12. I supply a local vape shop (Vvapour) have done for a while now. It's more than a hobby, it's also an extra £100 pw give or take. *tried to get my posts in one.. but multi quoting on android
  13. Weird that a computer geek be stuck in the analogue era. Put the cigarettes down and step away from the lighter (and get your head out of your ass) vaping owns and is here to stay! crusaders. There's a pic of it in this thread somewhere
  14. Where's your pic?? And where's this cloud comp?! Another one 28awg 316 twisted with .8×.08 kanthal 2.5mm @.25 good flavour and clouds from this one
  15. 2 coils should be exactly half of one, so if you measure 1ohm on your first coil your gravy. Unless it's something like a fluke meter the resistance on a multi meter may not be that accurate at less than 1ohm
  16. trial and error dude. I'd go for like 7-9 wraps of 2-2.5 mm diameter and you should be close (assuming kanthal a1 wire) but that depends on if that dia coil will physically fit.
  17. Those are 18awg kanthal 18awg 317l and 22awg ti. Claptons seem to take a while to get to peak operating temp but that two stage heating makes for nice flavour. Try, instead of a single wire wrapping the center one, using multiples in a parallel style.. heats much quicker, same great flavour but less ramp up and bigger clouds the wire I just made has probably the best flavour I've tried, and has next to no ramp up time, but dry hits more often at higher watts. *mis-read your post. Or read it before edit??. Compared to standard twist (not Clapton) it's like there's a party in my lungs and everyone's invited Those two posts were supposed to be one, fyi
  18. Rta? I'm using a billow @.2 . My rda's are from .05 to .3 generally.
  19. Here's one to try Sorry I couldn't get a better pic. It's twisted 30awg, then reverse twisted with another 30awg so three strands in total. It's like a parallel coil in that it heats up really quick, but gives great flavour

    Films!?

Seriously funny when Ted first meets Morgan freedman character. Ant man was better than I imagined it would be, though the recent rash of marvel films is a little too much imo
  21. Aside from coils, what do people prefer for wicking? I'm using ko jen do, fibre freaks, cotton bacon, and a few more but I'm yet to find perfection.
  22. 24awg 3.2mm 6 wraps kanthal dual coils @.28 so close to the airflow they're practical outside the atty 24awg 316l wire twisted with 1×.1 kanthal ribbon 3mm 7 wraps @.18 Nothing exciting atm.. but I may make something juicy later
