i bath bled without flushing the old oil out first and it makes for a very messy sink hah so flushing it first is the clever mans choice

if they dont fully go back into the slaves then its because the Tpa (twisty red bit) has been twisted in before it was rounded off and yes im sure there is some metal replacements in one of the for sale threads if not tartys do them too and as far as re bleeding them goes if you havent got a proper bleed kit for them they can be really easily done in your kitchen sink just using a set of allen keys. watch this video its a different model of hs33 but the same applies just the bleed bolt is in a slightly different place

oh dear lord you mentioned the S word, after reading the tartys description on both the rockmans sounded a lot chunkier and stronger and also have twice as much warranty over the try alls. but doesnt really matter what it says on paper if there shit in the real world, prefered the look of the try alls anyway so im rather swayed there way now

My forks are mega old school at the moment to the point of front mounted magura and steel steerer I don't mind the flex of carbon it actually feels rather pleasant

Planning on treating myself to some carbon forks, just need some opinions on whether to get the try alls or rockmans. Anyone had either of them break is my main question to be honest I'm still a bit carbon sceptical

Shouldn't really be a problem I rode mine for quite some time with flat topped steerer and a sloped stem. Just make sure there is enough of it poking through your stem and you should be okay

I like the feel of my brake running no booster but there's quite a bit of frame flex. Just want to know whether this affects frames at all in the long run? Twisted Maggie mounts or cracks etc
