I'm with Halifax because you get a £2750 overdraft. I'm currently £1500 overdrawn and i've set my overdraft to that, thinking about upping it to £2k just incase, but I know just incase will end up meaning "more money for new camera" and i'll end up with no money, so I don't know... But I've had no problems with Halifax at all, very nice people.

Well everywhere charges the same. It's not like buying a pc where when you shop around you can find a better deal, because Apple computers are made only by Apple, they can choose the prices to charge, and then everyone charges that prices, so PC world is the same, all the UK Mac resellers are the same, Apple stores are the same, etc. so there's nowhere you can get a brand new mac for cheaper than RRP. Your best bet is to use the educational store, or look on ebay for ex-demo models, there was a 3 month old ex-demo 17" MBP for £1299 the other day, which is very cheap.
