  2. if anything there stronger because they dont have to be dished meaning that the spokes are more in line with the flanges making it possible for a better build. Thats why pro 2's and dengs hubs have a small drive-shell, so that the wheel doesn't have to be dished as much/at all. cheers lewis

  5. got a rate bargain, bought a second hand leeson full build; leeson clear 660 frame rear classic king front hope xc marta front disk raceline magura rear middleburn cranks mavic d521 ceramic rims front + rear £400 plus planet-x tibo frame £50 =£450
  6. try-all rims dont come with a coloured finish to the sidewalls looks lush though mate, dont know why but i like the monty pr's better than the Ti frames
  7. helmets are essential, i used to wear shin guards when i was starting out and used to slip my pedals a lot, now i have more control i don't bother with them, but its up to you. Gloves can save your hands from a good skinning al the way down to bone cheers lewis
  8. owning a king myself id chhose a king over a poo2 any day, if you have money that is........ yeah the poo2's are louder, cheaper etc......... they kings are stronger with the 8mm bolts/heavy duty axle etc..., less likely to skip, plus no ratchets. people will say 'kings are too much trouble' but when they're right..... kings rule all o'er lewis

  14. song was bodyrox - yeah yeah the mod-stock change was mint, but sidehopping was a bit reduced, but i feel more comfortable on a bigger bike. cheers for the comments keep them coming cheers lewis

  17. find a dirty river/lake etc and dip the disk in and ride around with the brake on (as much as can be applied without going over the bars lol) for about 2-3 mins and then leave it for a bit and ride around some more with it on. Should be fine. cheers lewis
  18. 1. Get two solid and even plates of metal/or owt thats flat, put ur rotor in between and park a car over the top of it overnight. or 2. Get an adjustable spanner and slightly bend back the bent bit slightly further than straight to make it straight. then wash it in hot soapy water and put back onto the bike. cheers lewis

  20. we dont have them walking round mansfield . Instead we get 'super-cop' who last year made over 350 arrests , who rides around on a pimped police bike that can push the sound barrier. No way of escaping him. We have wardens for the drinking and stuff buts thts bout it. lewis
