  1. OEM colour was sort of what I meant, if it's not the standard colour then either way it suits the car a bit more the way it is. Steve
  2. screw the arguements, the Cupra R looks fit! - wheels look good the way they are though? keep it a little more OEM looking I reckons, basically the way it is right now. Steve
  3. Forgot to mention- everything is welded correctly and lines up. No dodgey brake or rubbing chain line. Having 116 spacing doesn't bother me all that much, gives a better chain line in my opinion anyway! I've been told its 1.7ish kg inc headset. It rides very nice, I feel more controlled on it compared to the Zhi even when geo is the same. The frame is SO stiff, rear end is incredible with the gusset from top tube to seatstays, I don't think I'm allowed to say how much it was sorry! Steve
  4. The weld quality is alright, as far as Chinese manufacturing goes, Deng is more premium and I'd say it's halfway between Deng and the lower quality Chinese brands. Steve
  5. I know right Dan - he puts me to shame. He's really enjoyable to watch in person too, not sure about music but it's not about that in videos like this! Steve
  6. that looks really nice! I used to run Mavic Crossride wheels on the front and it looked awesome, love a bit of graphics on front rim - shame it was too narrow and was only 24 spokes (not really ideal for trials at all..) very tidy. Steve
  7. I kind of quite like it low, think it suits my style a bit better! If I come across a nice cheap mod stem then I might give that a go, but that can wait! I've been told it's 1080wb, +55bb, 380cs - so very different to the Sky2. Haven't measured it and to be honest I'm not too bothered, the geo is identical to my 2010 Zhi Z3R but rides so differently - the lower front end probably helps! Steve
  8. I got it through a friend from China, not sure how someone can go about getting one in the UK if I'm honest - I could ask though? yeah bash and crank were 4 yrs old, so caustic soda, and a couple of hours of wet or dry to polish it up, I probably could have done it a little better, it was all so rushed but at the end of the day I just wanted the black off it - it does look a million times better! cheers Flipp. Yeah rocks down Giffard Park in MK. crank bolts are Ellen 8mm Ti rainbow finish - get in touch with Amas on here and he should be able to sort something out for you. thanks Amas, I love it, I tried to re-do the same shot but I didn't actually have the time to do it perfectly alike, nevermind.. cheers for the positive comments so far guys. Steve
  9. When I had my 2010 Zhi Z3R I never ever got on with it all that well. So it was time for a change - I aquired myself a Breath 26" and yes, it looks like a Koxx Sky2 before anyone states the obvious! Forgot to mention - pic heavy, but everyone has broadband now right? Whilst you're here feel free to play a game of 'spot the difference' comments are most welcome, I can post a spec if I can be bothered later... Steve
  10. Greetings, I was looking at this on the phone and I genuinely thought that was a vagina model you get in sex education when I saw 3rd pic in. Like I said before, lovely car, get some proper photos of it with some good landscapes for us? Steve Or a piece of ham... Steve
  11. Bournemouth stop if you come across fruit bar-if that is still around then order the 88% vodka also works as well as rhopynol. Steve
  12. Nice video guys! Esmond looks a lot more comfortable on the mod! Good switch back. Steve
  13. My eno is 4 years old, just had its first service since I had it and it only skipped a handful of times. Loved it and even I can tell its slightly on its way out its still going absolutely solid!! Only thing stopping me from servicing it properly like I should do is the freewheel is absolutely seized on cranks so I will be riding it till it dies then taking it all apart to use total brute force to remove it. I won't get another because it seems to be a lot of effort to transfer freewheels from crank to crank. As a long term product it's fantastic, sounds great, reliable and you know you're getting a quality product. But because of the nature of how it naturally tightens onto crank and it's always a bit sketchy to remove I think I'll only bother with good ish freewheels that's cheap on a one use basis. So my next freewheel would be an Echo SL - that's until my eno dies though! Hope this helps. Steve
  14. I don't know much technical stuff so don't go guns blazing if I'm wrong, but isn't having an LSD going to be harder to 'go sideways' like you intended to by having this car? Steve
  15. Amazing looking m3! It's all paid off! Steve
  16. I just did this last week, mixed around 200g to about 3 litres of water, think that was quite strong and you can feel exothermic reaction through the gloves, I would suggest gloves and long sleeve, goggles are excessive I wear glasses but better safe than sorry IMO. Make sure if you do it in your bathroom there's plenty of ventilation, I had to put a fan on with windows open as the fumes didn't look like it was great for my lungs. Keep some running water going just so you can rinse or wash any body parts getting splashed. Do seconds at a time, then rinse, I think I over did it a little and it turned my cranks a little black, but I polished it out but if you're not planning to polish then be careful on how long you leave it in there. I had to do mine with a light brush as my freewheel was stuck on cranks and I didn't fancy soaking that in the water, but otherwise you should be able to soak the whole thing in! Steve
  17. they do look great, but the weight and geo put me off them. but a lovely starter bike, loads of heavy parts though so I guess it'll be a little heavy, but if you think it's light then that's all it matters. you want a nice sturdy bike to bash around then you can eventually upgrade to lighter parts as your riding progress. Steve
  18. trials has come a long way... I love digging up and looking at old pictures of my Giant TT! not usually a fan of coloured chains but it works on your Ozonys, just enough touches of red and blue! nice! Steve
  19. that's a nice looking bike, personally I would have used cable ties for the hose just so it looks neater, but that's just me. The frame seem to look nicer with the Zhi logo on it, I've seen most without and this is by far better! enjoy it! Steve
  20. How about facelift Focus ST? more mature and not so chavvy looking as the pre-facelift, 3/5 door option, go for subtle colours like red, black or blue then it could be a bit of a win? Might not have as good interior but I wouldn't say they're the worse out there. Handling should be good being a Ford and refined engine....? Steve
  21. No need for my approval to respray it, so in that case it's alright, only voicing what I thought though, after all it is an opinion you're after for posting pictures of your bike right? Steve
  22. why the hell would you ruin the original finish? now it looks shit - well done. nevertheless it's still a nice bike. Steve
  23. I drove a very similar road from around 4 mins onwards, it was from Geneva - Interlaken through Bernense Alps, absolute dream drive. It was in a hired 1.2 Polo with 4 people on eco tyres which was very lame to be honest, but being able to push the car (near) the limit was incredible fun there coupled with the scenery it is awesome. On the note of BEST roads I've driven - Northern Mallorca coastal roads are amazing too, just need to somehow ditch the shitty 1.2 hired cars!! (Opel Corsa with tres terrible steering which feels like a steering wheel in the arcades - no feedback whatsoever). Steve
  24. haha takes me back to your DB London video. which I may add is still awesome. good riding, good choice of bike. like! steve
  25. Vimeo Video -> Original Video it rained, I found some clips filmed over winter, I edited. feedback welcome. Steve
