  1. Right, and your point is? Amas, beautiful bike, I'm still interested in one... I know Esmond hasn't been the best person to speak to about this!! Love the attention to detail, you should see my Zhi (Which guys, it's quite original for a Zhi frame as it's the Z3R), it looks like utter sh*t but it works.... Steve
  2. Won't be anywhere as good but we can always try...! Bring on summer
  3. This video is sooo good wanted more... Great edit reminds me of the 3rd series dirty Sanchez where they toured Europe!! Makes me want to make a video this summer! Steve
  4. Very similar geo between pure and the genesis, mate just switched from pure to genesis and I prefer onza a bit more. Has built on booster so rear end feels a alot more solid! Steve
  5. There for a week now on holiday just wondering if any locals know of shops that will stock trials bikes or frames...? Did see a rider from a distance on a lime green mod but way too far to run after him to ask!! Cheers!
  6. might not be cracked, it could well just be the way the wheel was built and the rim wasn't very well pinned together (where it joins up). A lot of pinned rims (most trials rims are) when not built well they tend so show a 'crack' like that. unlike rims where they are pinned and welded at the joint where splits like that are quite unlikely. Steve
  7. I'm lying, I've had this bike for well over a year now, and the parts probably all rotting like a badly looked after 30 year old car. But I've got some new tyres and couldn't ride so I went out to take a few snaps instead. That's what you kids do right? Update your bike pictures on here every week because you've "finally got the bike exactly how I want it, except I want a new frame and maybe a stem and bars, could do with getting those bright pink pedals to go with the 2006 fluro colour schemes too!" So here it is, new tyres, and really, it's perfect right now. Steve
  8. I disagree, any info can be handy, as a trials forum you cannot eliminate the riders here who are also motorists and commute cyclists even if we are the ones getting in the way sometimes... Steve
  9. for a second I thought you had 2 identical bikes. that is fine, pretty much how I have mine on a stock, slight tilt forwards. Personally I think it's all down to preference, I've bickered before with other riders about how it feels nicer with a bit of a forward tilt, though some I know like the streety backsweep, they love it and I don't get on with it... each to their own. Steve
  10. haha sweet! good progress for 3 months. good spot too, I've ridden there a few times when I was back there at uni, though have to get there at the right time otherwise the teachers literally sh*ts everywhere. I recognise them orange arto sari's too... looks like the ones I sold. hahah! Steve
  11. chilllllled. good riding boys! it's videos like this that makes me misses the south! Steve
  12. entry forms and payment details for Hook Woods? there's nothing on the website! Steve
  13. any details for the 12th Hook Woods Trial? never done the CCTC trial before, can anyone just enter? Steve
  14. watermelon LOL. get rid of them bars! otherwise looking good stu, and sean... I see sean is still rocking some of his old parts. love that raceface xc stem. Steve
  15. love the huge riding and yet it's such an incredibly smooth style. some pretty tech lines in there too like the gap to rail to side hop up to wall... Steve
  16. you should go there, it's pretty gnarly!! rode Reading a fair few times recently because other good spots are not really within reach easily! more of a spontaneous ride really! the Green Marino has the Hex geo, I think it looks better in steel with skinnier tubing. thanks for comments so far guys constructive comments are welcomed too. Steve
  17. I'd buy it, just to make genital warts look nicer if I ever get them. Steve
  18. small hands = small grips. beast looking bike Kev! Steve
  19. looks like a nice place to work... nice little insight into one of the most respected/popular mtb brands and where all these lovely kits come from! should have made an episode of "How it's made". Steve
  20. SILLY ME! I don't use TF enough I could share the entire post, but that's a lot of effort compared to the one click '+' or 'like'. I'll stick with the easy option for now! Steve
  21. vote for TF to have 'like' buttons. Steve
  22. bit off topic but what is the song from 2nd video? doesn't go well with anything unless you're on ecstasy but I like it. Steve
  23. Vimeo Video -> Original Video enjoy. Steve
