  1. Title kind of explains it all. I'm a bit of an MSN hobbit and cant live without it so i hope you'll understand
  2. Thanks for all the help - i'll go and give it a razz! Not too sure about the clip in pedals though! Although it's got to be tried and filmed on some big stuff. Any volunteers?!
  3. I have read as many tutorials etc as possible and i think i have the technique to sidehop, but when ever i get in the air or just land, i always put my left foot down. ( i hop to the left). I conciously try and keep my foot on the pedal but cant help it. Is this just one of those things i have to get out of the habit of doing or is my technique flawed in someway so i lose balance or something? Thanks for help as im getting a bit peeved now!
  4. Yep thats right i should be down again on the 17th if you're out and about so i can ride with you for a bit instead of having to satisfy a DHer as well! Cheers
  5. [attachmentid=8548] Here's one i made earlier
  6. Hiya, i just got my first proper video together and edited after making loads of crappy little ones. I'm sure you know how it is! Anywho, im not that good so don't expect to be amazed! Any comments welcome.
  7. I get the feeling not a great deal of people will go due to the Exeter indoor jobby, but make it the sunday after and i'll be there
  8. Im suprised nobody's said masturbating yet sooo... Masturbating! But really - running, kayaking, photography, editing (photo/video) Its all good
  9. When you're riding around, put it in a back pocket or a zip/velcro etc. and when you stop to do some trials, just take it out and put it somewhere safe...always worked for me
  10. I read through the topic in your link, and you say you dented the taper on the middleburns when you snapped the crank, if there is any damage to the taper, it's more than likely that that is your problem. If it isn't the problem, it will be at some point. I rounded my middleburn taper :$ and wrote a letter to middleburn. They replied saying send them off to them (For the attention of Matt if i remember rightly) and they would replace them for £47.50. Hope this was some help - it helped me realise how good my memory is as it happened over a year ago
  11. Mine were like that too, i found that putting them contact side down on concrete then dragging them along the floor with your foot works to take the new edge off them and roughen them up bit. I have to do it every time i wash my bike - which to be fair isnt very often
  12. I know simply the bike do them - 01803200024 (they do have a website although i'm not sure if they have the pads on there ). They are fast and reliable. I think they are £18 though.
  13. I think, as you're just starting, any bike really will be good enough, although something with better/more trials specific geometry and parts etc will help you to improve faster, but at the end of the day a starter bike is just to learn on, you're not going to be doing massive stuff so go for something that feels comfortable, is a good price for you, but if you take the cheaper option be prepared to upgrade as you improve
  14. instead of starting a new topic i thought i would put this in here: i havn't heard much about the hope/try-all discs or seen them anywhere for sale. What is the reason for this and does anybody have any reviews? Cheears
  15. If everyone else is like me and cant drive, i think you would get more people to ride if you set it some time in the future due to train prices rising at short notice this time of year. Organise one for the new year and ill be there
  16. Ive never bled brakes before, but couldn't you bleed it through one slave first, then put the bolt in and keep bleeding so the fluid fills the other side as well
  17. There's not really much point in having that many pixels, surely it would only be used by pro's for things like bill boards etc? Talking of which what cameras do they use for them already?
  18. Ive done it for you mate, its not amazing as im not that good on photoshop but you get the idea of what it will look like. Im not sure how to post up pictures on here but add me on msn trialsrider@hotmail.com and ill send it to you. Dan
  19. I wouldn't use a steel one - a reason behind the mech hanger being soft is so that it breaks rather than your mech when you bash it. I would rather pay out a tenner than £60 for a new Mech. Dan
  20. As the topic titles says, does anyone know when the exact date is that INDIVIDUAL tickets come on sale to the public? The website says autumn and i didnt get a reply to my email. Cheers, Dan
  21. If it's the latest T-Mag then the bars will fit because the stem is for oversized bars. If it's an older model give someone like Supercyclesa ring as they are the main dealers Dan
  22. I was wondering if it would be possible for me to deal directly with Echo as want a Rear rim and it's just out of curiosity really. Also, my local bike shop is interested in selling Echo and Zoo! products and i was just wondering on their behlaf if they would be able to deal with them? Thanks
  23. I made a website (first one using HTML!) and it can be seen at www.rivierariders.co.uk. I should point out it's not quite finished yet but should be done within the week. Also when i was having a look at Craig Lee Scott's website it seems he has quit as there is now no website only 1 video and in the browser bar it says 'the end of' I hope he's not though he's inspired me loads. Dan
  24. what i did when i got my try-all for the front was just rode it as it was and after a while all the paint came off on its own. And the braking wasn't that bad either!
