  1. Thank you very much for your detailed comment! What I see is that the shear force is in the same place, so I'm wondering why it can happen. Clearly something is. Inspired already revised the axle, so something was wrong (or not perfect). It can happen, no problem. Inspired's solution at this point is "to try" the pro axle in my team fourplay like a next "logical step" (in their words). They're not saying put another brand new revised axle which tells us something too... Anyway, I appreciate what the manufacturer is doing. Inspired is not just denying the issue or blaming the user. Try to provide me with a solution. Going back to your comment, to instal a team axle is very easy if we follow the owner's manual. Also it is a system that does not loosen, at least according to my experience of 2 years riding this whip. I never had to re tighten those bolts when I checked the bike out with the torque wrench. However, if despite following the instructions, the axle is not fully tightened and the end of the hub generate those elliptical marks, I would not be able to tell where the cause is. What happens to the torque when the axle bends a little before the final break? I have finally bought the pro axle and one more as a back up (mental insurance). Thanks again mate
  2. If I tell you that I thought it... I'll make a note for the next one. Today Inspired has said that an alternative is to try a pro axle. I hope the third time's a charm because it kills me to be out of the game. I had a few problems with this bike but to be honest the warranty on some components like Hope or Inspired was very good. For sure thanks to the support of Tartybikes.
  3. I sent an email to Charlie today and said what would Adam do to fix it!? That seems to be the next step to try, because the threaded section is solid. thanks man.
  4. Inspired has spoken. According to them the play it would be normal. But they recommend to install the pro version of the through-axle on my Team whip. This will be the third. I said yes but I honestly don't think it's a definitive solution. A new fear is unlocked... So I will take in account your advise!
  5. Here is my update. I received my new Hope Pro 4 SS/T under warranty after the house analyzed my old hub. It was the original hub for my 2020 Inspired Fourplay Team. I rode that hub for a year every day, nothing big and almost always in my backyard (lawn/pallets). On March 23 I built a new set of wheels. During the first rides, the new hub fails again with up to 3 skips (each/ride). I remember feeling bad... I checked the hub and saw that it had too much blue grease on the pawl pivots and the springs seemed to be malfunctioning. I cleaned up the excess with WD-40 then put a little oil on it, rebuilt the hub and voila. Like you were bedding in a freewheel, but I did it and solved the problem. As a general maintenance I also have to say that it is recommended to change springs and pawls once a year. I finally noticed that the pawls have an update as you can see in the photos. A small fin to facilitate the work of springs (Personal opinion). I think the Hope Pro4 is a good value for money option as the warranty completes the product. There is a Spank hub that I want to try.. I keep an eye on a Yohan Triboulat project...
  6. Thanks for your comment mate. I think the problem is in the dropout of the frame, the Fourplay's first rear through-axle version. The 12mm through-axle doesn't work with the drive-side dropout, it's in the air and all the load is on the thread. It is clearly not designed to work like this. The thread should only fix the axle for the axle to do its job. I love this bike, maybe Inspired can provide a solution. Tartybikes, my right hand always, is asking for advice.
  7. Now that I have time since I broke the rear axle again (Fourplay 2020), a recurring issue of that edition of the model (if you are interested see my previous post). Later I will update my experience with the new Hope Pro4 ss/t that I received under warranty. Changes I noticed in the article and what I did when it skipped a few times during the first few rides.
  8. Hello everyone, this is another boring post unless you have a Fourplay Team 2020 edition and you broke its rear through-axle. Two months after I bought the bike as a total beginner with minimal stress to the bike, I broke the first rear axle on its thread. Last night I broke another one (the revised version by Inspired) in the same place with a "pedal hop to the front wheel" not with a big drop or something! So this time I checked the bike and noticed at first glance that the respective dropout has a bigger hole than the opposite side and the strong section of the axle is in the air with all the load on the thread. I am not Euan Beaten (engineer) to say this with authority, but the frame or the axle is not doing its job! If you take a look at the media I uploaded, you can see what I mean (SOUND ON IS CRUCIAL). When I analyze the axle I see that this doesn't occur on the opposite side. The axle has a wider section there (minimal but enough to fit perfectly in the disc side dropout). The question is Where is the problem (recurrent!)? WhatsApp Video 2022-07-21 at 11.15.13 PM.mp4 61233091_WhatsAppVideo2022-07-21at11_16_44PM.mp4
  9. I am running 180mm shimano rt76 rotors. I could honestly bleed them and try again. These brakes are for my dirt jump (26") that I'm giving a trial touch to. It happens that compared to the standard of the hope trials zone it seems underpowered. But you're right, I overdid it a bit with zero power. I was thinking about the red ebc pads because I read that an experienced rider like Jhon Shrewsbury used them for at least 4 years and said that (for him) it would make a big difference... But I will start bleeding the Zees and then I will see what to do. Thank you Ross!
  10. Thank you very much for your recommendation. I always check their website. I love the trixer and maxima levers for example... this products are top-notch!
  11. hi everyone, I would like to inquire about brake pads compatible with shimano zee. I wanted to get the ebc cfa493r (red), highly recommended by john Shrewsbury, but they are impossible to find here in Argentina, even very difficult on the Internet (out of stock). so if anyone can give any good alternative, it will be welcome! I'm running the standard pads and they suck for trials (zero power)... Thanks in advance
  12. Amazing!! I saw that u are running XT brakes.. what kind of pads do u use?
  13. I would advise against riding the bike until this issue is resolved as it will only further damage the hub. I understand you've been running the hub for a year, so some wear and tear is to be expected. It is good practice to check our hubs every 6 months or so and I would replace the pawls and springs once a year to prevent failure. This information is from the guys at Tartybikes (guaranteed!). I hope it is useful mate.
  14. Thanks for the info! I supposed wrong. Yes! It had the sticker when I received the bike from Tartybikes. I followed the advice but months later I forgot to check it during a long sesh and It was enough. After destroy the crank thread I got an insert to try repair the damaged truvativ descendant crank, but I don't know if it will work well for trials. Now I am using a pair of Truvativ Stylo to get by.
  15. Hi all, After 1 year and a half riding this rig I wanted to share this experience to this day. We know the bike is top spec and the frame is high end. Overall it's great. I'm just telling some things that happened to me. 1.- The rear axle lasted 60 days. So Inpired sent me the new version of the through-axle very quickly, all under warranty. 2.- You have to tight the pedals very often, and if you apply the recommended 40 Nm I would say that you should do it on every outing. One day I forgot and damaged the right thread (drive side - I'm right front foot) and had to replace the crank (much pain $$$). Time after I installed a pair of Stamp 7 and this hardly ever happen. I would say that is the Inspired Team V2 pedals and Truvativ crancks combination. 3.- Hope Tech 3 Trial Zone: Master cylinder diaphragm failed losing DOT fluid and it flaked the top cap. 4.- Finally. The Hope Pro 4 ss rear hub is damaged and I am waiting for another hub to rebuild the wheel. At first I thought it was the pawls because I've never done a hub service, which is recommended at least once a year (change springs and pawls and new grease. I did not know it). But then I realize the pawls blew out because the internal rachet was damaged. After that everything works fine and I really like this bike. I don't know if other riders had similar issues.
  16. From what I have read, Czar has stopped production of all bikes and may not resume operations. I hope it is temporary! I loved the Neruron 26". I also read that Extension Potential could realese a Drax Pro. Everytime I look at it more fondly....

    Covid19

As I said, things are there for whoever wants to see them. The links are the ones I had on hand and they serve as a sample, but there are thousands, like the one I gave you for the ivermectin that is peer-reviewed and published in a medical journal because of it's of interest to doctors. But if it's nothing to you, no problem. Of course you won't find anything like it if you only feed yourself informatively from Youtube, ig, fbk, twitter, bbc, cnn, msn, and all the media that carry the official narrative. Let us remember that this same study could not be published, for example, on IG without the account being suspended on the premise of false information about covid19 when it is clear that it is not false. But even so, people do not raise an alarm, it does not seem striking and they continue to believe. In any case, whoever wants to believe in the narrative is within their rights. Each one makes his own way of making decisions about his body. If someone to keep calm puts his health in the hands of politicians and pharmaceutical companies, let him do it. I only add that there was already a failed pandemic attempt in 2009 (Influenza A), but this time they did it right, a campaign of fear, isolation and unique science with persecution of anyone who says otherwise (for example in Livorno there is a doctor who treated to 3000 patients outside the protocol and was criminally prosecuted, but he cured the Mayor of the town and received support). The result is people that we still see driving alone in their vehicle with a mask... But there are many more behaviors that are not seen but that are nested there in people's heads. The panic that they unleashed when the lethality of all variants is 0.068%. (5,500,000 deaths in the world / 8,000,000,000 world population = 0.0006875). I leave the article on the flu scandal, it is in Spanish but it can be translated on any device. https://www.elmundo.es/suplementos/cronica/2010/745/1264287607.html Just to illustrated it!

    Covid19

Manuel, this is not my mother tongue, so please excuse my spelling errors. Clearly, to say that the vaccines have not been of any use is unverifiable, but what can be said by being visible to anyone who wants to see, is that they are not even close to what they had promised: the vaccinated person gets infected, transmits the disease, he is hospitalized and dies the same. One of a reference in drug surveillance in Europe, Joan Ramón Laporte Roselló exposed with the evidence in hand in the Congress of Deputies of Spain (not in an IG post or FBK) the results of the Pfizer clinical trials and that evidence it was not shown to prevent death (also look up Pfizergate for more scandal, according to the British Medical Journal). Not even the FactCheckers dared to say that it was false but simply that it was out of context. For more, and in a more fun format, listen to Joe Rogan's podcast with Dr. Robert Malone (creator of mRNA technology) on Spotify (There is another with McCullough). For early treatments the one is Dr. Peter McCullough who testified several times in the Texas and national Congress of EEUU. Respect to the ivermectin link, I left you a paper and also the early care protocol, nothing anecdotal. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34466270/ https://covid19criticalcare.com/covid-19-protocols/i-mask-plus-protocol/

The restrictions have brought more harm than good, and the real damage they brought is still unknown today. The approach to the pandemic that seemed most logical was that of the Great Barrington Declaration, which proclaimed the care of risk groups, normal life for young people, and was against mass vaccination. But it went against the pharmaceutical companies. The governments put it on the agenda and instead they opted for the campaign of fear, a mandatory mask to always remind you that you have to fear, isolation and mass vaccination. In the process some were financially sacrificed and others benefited, to later confront and divide society and make it more dominable. Let us remember that it was not "science" but a science in particular with conflicts of interest that promoted vaccination, censoring other voices so that theirs seemed unanimous and abolishing early care treatments (ivermectin, today it is known that it was and is effective). That is, scientific consensus never existed. Now overnight it’s over.
  21. Late, but speaking abot the Hope Pro 4 SS, I broke a pawl last week (this hub 1,5 years/1 hour a day of riding on average). the hub has 4 pawls and should engage 2 at a time as it works offset. but when you spin the body, 2 of them do not always engage, many times only one works to support all the power. one tip was to use double spring... I bought several sets of pawls/springs to try (before change the brand...).
