  1. Hi Adam, that was to refer the fluo orange matte colorway, released in May 2022 (sort of!). It's rare that you can't find that latest model running out there. I asked it out of curiosity and to know about the experience of the owners (amateurs). Also here no one raises their hand and we can say that this Forum is popular. Thanks for your comment, man.
  2. Hello again, Is the 2022 Arcade Edition on the streets? I haven't seen an unboxing out there or new owners posting photos or videos. I only saw Aaron (super rider tv) and Jack H. (pro) on IG. When I was wondering about it, Ali C uploaded a new YouTube video of his old steel frame... well, just to see if anyone noticed the same thing.
  3. Good prose! At the level of that frame's paint job. Thanks for your offer I wouldn't like bother you. I've ordered and the package is on the way. But If I go to LA I will let u know for a street ride!
  4. Hi! How is this project going? Do you have more photos? I would like to see it finished!
  5. And to conclude... How is this project going? Now it's not a joke. I'm going to that thread to ask for more photos. I always liked that bike.
  6. Hey! let that detail slide.. lol. In order to cut the hose I would like to see u finding a Magura olive/insert in Argentina! Impossibile. Now, is on the way because I bleed my eyes when I see the tangled stem.
  7. haha don't be bad bro... or no more comments about the outlawed correction hops in your pretty posts.
  8. I thought the same. That was my first impression (nice). I need more rides to get a conclusion. The Arcade bar is hard to beat but I wanted to try an alternative before to order another brand new arcade b. Thanks, mate.
  9. Hi everyone. I wanted to share my feelings and details about the Sqlab 30X Trial handlebar. Fabio's signature. Main emotion: I feel it stiffer than the Arcade riser bar and was a nice impression (personal opinion)... It comes with "Montagepaste" (friction increasing assembly paste) to not exceed the tightening torque of 8 Nm. Technical details: It's 84 mm total rise (Arcade Bar, 102 mm), 5* upsweep (Arcade bar 4*) y 9 backsweep. Length 730 mm. Weight: 330 g (Arcade 368g). Made in Taiwan. Clamp diameter 31.8 mm and 22.2 mm diameter grips. This is a theme for the bar ends but if we put some duck tape inside goes ok. I recommend Odissey BMX Par Ends (5€), they are the best I've founded. For the "stem marriage" Sqlab recommends a clamping width of 46 to 58 mm. My Trialtech Sport is 45 mm but I will install it anyway. The Sqlab 30X stem has a clamp of 55 mm... According with Sqlab User Manual is ASTM F2043 Category 5 – The functional range of bicycles and parts of this category, in addition to those specified in categories 1, 2, 3 and 4, can also be used for extreme jumps and downhills in rough terrain at speeds above 40 km/h. The functional ranges are also colloquially called gravity, freeride, North shore, slopestyle and downhill. Also with a maximum system weight (rider + bike + luggage) of 120 kg. Finally the finished and the aesthetic is awesome.
  10. Good finding!! May I add a little more confusion... In the same shipment from Tartybikes I received under warranty the brand new pro 4 SS/t with the similar "pro 2 pawls" and a pawl/spring service kit that I had ordered for the next maintenance, and the pawls from the kit are the plain finless model and the packaging says Pro 4, 2 Evo and 2. What a salad! Now is Hope walking back the way? It seems that in this universe it is not convenient to suppose...
  11. It's always healthy to face a little competition. I hope there are more options in the segment where the Hope Pro 4 SS/T is. The hub recently had an update (pawls), so we'll see if that improves its "longevity" or just reduces the number of cases we're talking about.
  12. Yohan is running the Spank hub at the moment. And I keep an eye on his bike.
  13. When the pawls skip, it kills me. I think the update to the pawls is to improve the action of the springs...
  14. First hand information, Mark W! I really love this bike (one of five I have). In this topic I feel that we delve into the subject. Grateful because I learned a lot. I'll update this story when I have the replacement. Thank you all, especially Mark W.
  15. Thank you very much for your detailed comment! What I see is that the shear force is in the same place, so I'm wondering why it can happen. Clearly something is. Inspired already revised the axle, so something was wrong (or not perfect). It can happen, no problem. Inspired's solution at this point is "to try" the pro axle in my team fourplay like a next "logical step" (in their words). They're not saying put another brand new revised axle which tells us something too... Anyway, I appreciate what the manufacturer is doing. Inspired is not just denying the issue or blaming the user. Try to provide me with a solution. Going back to your comment, to instal a team axle is very easy if we follow the owner's manual. Also it is a system that does not loosen, at least according to my experience of 2 years riding this whip. I never had to re tighten those bolts when I checked the bike out with the torque wrench. However, if despite following the instructions, the axle is not fully tightened and the end of the hub generate those elliptical marks, I would not be able to tell where the cause is. What happens to the torque when the axle bends a little before the final break? I have finally bought the pro axle and one more as a back up (mental insurance). Thanks again mate
  16. If I tell you that I thought it... I'll make a note for the next one. Today Inspired has said that an alternative is to try a pro axle. I hope the third time's a charm because it kills me to be out of the game. I had a few problems with this bike but to be honest the warranty on some components like Hope or Inspired was very good. For sure thanks to the support of Tartybikes.
  17. I sent an email to Charlie today and said what would Adam do to fix it!? That seems to be the next step to try, because the threaded section is solid. thanks man.
  18. Inspired has spoken. According to them the play it would be normal. But they recommend to install the pro version of the through-axle on my Team whip. This will be the third. I said yes but I honestly don't think it's a definitive solution. A new fear is unlocked... So I will take in account your advise!
  19. Here is my update. I received my new Hope Pro 4 SS/T under warranty after the house analyzed my old hub. It was the original hub for my 2020 Inspired Fourplay Team. I rode that hub for a year every day, nothing big and almost always in my backyard (lawn/pallets). On March 23 I built a new set of wheels. During the first rides, the new hub fails again with up to 3 skips (each/ride). I remember feeling bad... I checked the hub and saw that it had too much blue grease on the pawl pivots and the springs seemed to be malfunctioning. I cleaned up the excess with WD-40 then put a little oil on it, rebuilt the hub and voila. Like you were bedding in a freewheel, but I did it and solved the problem. As a general maintenance I also have to say that it is recommended to change springs and pawls once a year. I finally noticed that the pawls have an update as you can see in the photos. A small fin to facilitate the work of springs (Personal opinion). I think the Hope Pro4 is a good value for money option as the warranty completes the product. There is a Spank hub that I want to try.. I keep an eye on a Yohan Triboulat project...
  20. Thanks for your comment mate. I think the problem is in the dropout of the frame, the Fourplay's first rear through-axle version. The 12mm through-axle doesn't work with the drive-side dropout, it's in the air and all the load is on the thread. It is clearly not designed to work like this. The thread should only fix the axle for the axle to do its job. I love this bike, maybe Inspired can provide a solution. Tartybikes, my right hand always, is asking for advice.
  21. Now that I have time since I broke the rear axle again (Fourplay 2020), a recurring issue of that edition of the model (if you are interested see my previous post). Later I will update my experience with the new Hope Pro4 ss/t that I received under warranty. Changes I noticed in the article and what I did when it skipped a few times during the first few rides.
  22. Hello everyone, this is another boring post unless you have a Fourplay Team 2020 edition and you broke its rear through-axle. Two months after I bought the bike as a total beginner with minimal stress to the bike, I broke the first rear axle on its thread. Last night I broke another one (the revised version by Inspired) in the same place with a "pedal hop to the front wheel" not with a big drop or something! So this time I checked the bike and noticed at first glance that the respective dropout has a bigger hole than the opposite side and the strong section of the axle is in the air with all the load on the thread. I am not Euan Beaten (engineer) to say this with authority, but the frame or the axle is not doing its job! If you take a look at the media I uploaded, you can see what I mean (SOUND ON IS CRUCIAL). When I analyze the axle I see that this doesn't occur on the opposite side. The axle has a wider section there (minimal but enough to fit perfectly in the disc side dropout). The question is Where is the problem (recurrent!)? WhatsApp Video 2022-07-21 at 11.15.13 PM.mp4 61233091_WhatsAppVideo2022-07-21at11_16_44PM.mp4
