Whens the Ashton effect gonna land? They reckon 229 quid which is a hefty sum less than the inspired. Who will they be sold through - will it just be direct from the ashton website? Ibs

Think the spank rims are disc only which is fine for the front but need to grind the rear one! Someone please find me some rims! May have to resort to re spraying! Can you get the anodised finish yourself or anything close to it?

Yes exactly mate - Im of the same thinking - nice colour but the flowers and crap look awful! I just want 24" rims in a nice colour - is that too much to ask?

Where can I get some 24 inch coloured rims?? I ideally would like some of the pink rims the guy has in the pink street vid but not sure where to get them from? Or a pair of yellow rims but rear one ground down? Ideas? Thanks Ibs

Its a pro 2 single speed hub This is good to know that yours has been alright I used to have this problem with a hub with headset spacers in to hold the cog and it dug into the freehub pretty bad - can you get wider sprokets for pro2s in 11tooth? Yes its for a inspired - and I ride mostly street on my 24/7 but its pretty heavy so fancy a change This is good to know also! I used to ride a massive frame and got used to riding on a hard gear and throw my back wheel at stuff so I think 11 tooth will ride nicely for me Thanks everybody! Ibs

Got a set of middleburns with super pro 16 tooth bash n cog - and wondering if i could run it with a 11 tooth cog without any problems? I've heard that it is likely to skip? what do people reckon? My other choice would be to put a new bash and spider on and run 22/14. What is the best choice? Thanks Ibs

Whys it a bad idea - are they rubbish rims?

About to get the exact same setup I think only tarty doesnt have the try-all rims in a color other than black so think i'll order some viz rims from t-uk. What tyres are you running on front and back - looks really sweet mate!

I tried about 20 times today from 11-1pm and finally got through. But yeh its like that sometimes which is annoying. Worst after work as all the little kids are on the phones ordering dirt jumper forks and pink grips! My only real gripe with CRC is when I ordered some manitous which were way cheaper than usual on the site so I said to the sales guy 'can i send them back for defo if they leak as most have the reviews on the site said not to buy for this reason' and the guy promised that I can do that for a full refund or replacement or upgrade if they do break. Funnily enough 2 months after buying they lock up and leak oil everywhere. I call them and explain and they say it was innapropriate use as it was on a 24/7 dark angel, which they assume must have been dirt jumped as thats what it made for so refused to take it back, then I argued the fact that the sales guy had promised and so finally they agreed only to fix them with a washer as it was a well known problem to them, which they failed to tell me about when I bought them! It seems to be a common thing on the site that they shift goods that break by selling off at a really low price. Not the best in my opinion. Anybody else has anything similar? Ibs

Good to hear your getting back into it! I met you aaages ago at huddersfield station on the platform and was well chuffed I had met one of the trialskings! I just got back into it recently and bought a simtra - finding it solid to ride - gonna switch to a 24 rather than figure out how to ride these long high bb bikes. Ibs

Ok so its best if I switch to 24" in that case as this tap and pedal hop up stuff is just too hard to get my head around - i just end up hitting my bash - think it will have to be a inspired or heatsink!

Ive tried adjusting to the new geometry but I have to pedal to get the front end up and then bunny hop - and I think ird be much better if I could just hop it up stuff. Any ideas on which stem would work better? Thanks for replies guys Also I have come from a 24/7 v24 jump bike so im really used to pulling the front end up and hopping over stuff

I've just bought a 26 inch trials bike but the long stem means I cant bunny hop it - its a simtra-st1 - if i put a shorter stem on would it allow me to bunny hop it or do i need to make the switch to 24 inch? Thanks Ibs
