  1. I agree with you in one sense that yeah you average street trials is just natural style but using walls and rails. However I'm not so sure that street style is dead I just think it's moved onto other bikes. You said yourself few people ride 24's but also think of the amount of people who ride BMX or 26inch jump hard tails for street. I think really trials has grown away from the street style in general but there are other bikes now which you can use to jump stair sets, manual walls and mess around in skate parks. I think the U.S scene is ahead of us in this sense with riders such as Aaron Chase and Dylan Tremblay (both awesome riders of technical street). It's just my opinion but why not have one bike set up for pure trials(screeching brakes long frame) and one for pure street (BMX, Single speed hardtail with sus).
  2. I prefer riding natural (since I hardly get to where I live) but I prefer watching sreet in vids.
  3. It's good to know that you do care and are trying to do SOMETHING but I'm really not sure it's the right way to go about it for the previous reasons. I know how you feel because I also have no natural to ride so unless you're mates with someone who can drive your a bit stuck. Definitely a good idea especially now it's summer and it's hard enough to ride in the day time due to dying of heat exaustion! It's also good fun night riding but just watch out for pi** heads :D" Your always going to get moved because people just see that your doing something different and your average security guard has conformed to his role and wont budge on what he thinks is right (for more info check out AS Psychology- Conformity) My general philosophy is be as polite to them as they are to you, I've been moved on by the bill a few times and they generally semi impressed with your skills but just ask you to move on politely so just do it then come back once there gone :P How the smeg did you manage that one! (Y)
  4. I'm loving that vid, has "Tricks and Stunts" written all over it, especially the part in the woods. Welcome back to trials and good luck (Y)
  5. Hi all, I'm just looking around for a longer frame and was just wandering what the real difference between the XTP and the Levelboss (26 inch versions) really is, weight geometry ect Thanks for you help guys
  6. Times like this I hate that Ryan Leech, good looking wife AND she rides trials, grrrr
  7. Yeah that was "The Bollard" which was his 20inch machine, more for practise I guess it's better to mess up welding on an old BMX frame than on your nicely purchased T45 :- Are you part of the Cov mountain bike club? Loz did tell me about a guy who had a curtis frame. Yeah but like I said he didn't design it to have 125mm of travel on the front :D He has just let me know he's going to make some changes soon so I'll keep you posted ^_^ By the way this is how the geometry works with the rigid forks me made
  8. Good to see your doing a bit of advertising for Onza quality :- haha nice vid, better look with your new frame ^_^
  9. I think from first time of putting pencil to paper and the final version about a year (or just over) Altho I think he's going to tweak the geometry a bit more as he didn't intend to have Fox forks on there (he got lucky on e-bay ^_^ )
  10. The frame is T45 Steel which he cut and welded himself. The bike is called "The Bridge" as it's supposed to not only take on trials but also technical (some heavy) free ride, skate park and aggressive street. I'm not sure about exact design measurements but you can check out his website www.bungalow-bikes.co.uk I think he's making a vid of the various styles of riding it can do so expect that soon. Cheers for any feed back guys
