  1. Hey, me and a couple others are heading up to st. neots this sunday, the 28th, if your about then come over and have a wee ride I'd assume we'll be at the station around half 10 ish... Edit: Change of plans for me, I won't be coming. Sorry ryan...
  2. Exactly how my bike is now, but with a 16t rear sprocket and rolhoff tensioner. But they will be bought soon enough... Although I do like the mbk and limey frames, i'll see.
  3. Yeah, would have been good to see you ride with a working bike. You made up for it though, very good. Loved the manual to up at the loading bay...
  4. Yeah it went there the first time, then again at the little garden bit with the fountain that we went to after subway, via those wooden things. Yeah I was wearing the same plugs as those today, forgive me but who were you?
  5. Yeah today was pretty sweet, shame I snapped my chain twice! I'll be down the bike shop tomorrow getting another slapped on my bike. Was good to meet some of you, however shy I am
  6. You can't buy them new anymore, you'll have to be looking 2nd hand. Although good luck finding one, they aren't exactly common.
  7. I wouldnt leave the house without one, its just common sense to wear one. Why risk damaging such an important part of your body?
  8. Around the 50" mark when I rode mod, now on stock I struggle with about 43" Lame...
  9. You look so much better on that bike compared to the bt. Loved the vid man, rad.
  10. Ot: Nice hose routing on the rear
  11. You couldn't be more wrong there, the frame Ali is riding in that vid is the mbk. He is using that to test different geo for the new frame, same reason Porter was riding an mbk a little while ago too. I don't think anyone has seen the new one yet because its not been made for us peasents of the public. I'm sure it won't be long before its out though, i'm interested in seeing it, if its got longer geo than previous versions I might be tempted to buy one. We'll see.
  12. I've recently moved from mod to stock. I've noticed quite a few people going to mod though, meh...
  13. Ah woah! New babies are awesome, best of luck to all three of you. Hope you get back to normal (if there is such a thing when families are growing like this) Congratulations and good luck.

    Pad Reviews

Pads: JoyPads Rim: Koxx tryall Grind: Yes, medium Brake: Magura, factory bleed, adamant lever blade and control booster Time Used: Couple rides Best pads used so far: Plaz crm or Zoo Opinion of a perfect brake: Lots of lock, bite and hold. Review: Got them in the post and they looked very home made, which I like personally. Put them on and bedded them in during the course of two days, rode them properly today and they are so so good, they give a very good bite with plenty of lock and the noise they produce is very confidence insipiring. I would reccomend these pads super highly, riding something that someone has put alot of effort into is something I value too. Ali C = Top bloke.
  15. I rekon your frame would be worth about £120 ish...it is quite scratched and there is 'the dent' Why you wanna sell ? you after a new frame there Ash ?
  16. Yeah you can do that, all you need is a fixed rear hub but they usually have a 6-speed cassette spacing so you'll need to get a normal cassette and hack some rings off it. Something like this will work: Click me!
  17. Very nice big dude, liking the look of the whole bike although you do have a rear vee brake
  18. I just naturally assumed Pete is talking out of his arse again, nothing new there. About rims, the echo 07 one is very good but seeing as your a jerk about buying deng parts then how about a tryall or revell ?
  19. Average speed check cameras, they use them for going through road works too. Bit of a bugger they are.
