  1. Onza Limely and you'll be the next Danny Butler dude go do it now now now
  2. Half a bottle of wine has gone so i'm not up for the eye one and i 've dished the wheel and now spoke threa dis showing so it's the frame but we shall find out properly totmorw at me mates shop
  3. Fact it's still on going might mean soemthing mate. Also yeah it's the first but when someone thinks they can make a personal threat like that to me or my shop when i had it then better think again. The uk law is going exactly the same way as the us law where everything and anyhtiong can be sorted, huge sums of cash to long term sentancing (sp). I'm not one to mess with others only should they chose to mess with me, people i live with, people i employ, work with, family and friends Again Mark leave it alone and back tot he subject
  4. Crack no, the green godess and the dirty demon. Yeah now and then when i'm in the mod. Imagen thus:- 1. * 2. * * * * * You get it now?? Like a monty spliter but not as it has the threads for Magura barber fititng which is M6 size. Don't matter if it does liqiud or gas as it'll be doing both (don't worry you selfs how that bit works)
  5. If the last of your post there was in ref to the topic i created in contray to Charlies then if you check the law you'll know i have reason to list the company as one who has my address and number. Knowing both Dave and Adam have no reason what so ever to give out my personal info and it being ilegal very ilegal and the likely hood of it happning is like the wolrd ending it was requested by the law as i told you and all within the post i made Marky boy. Now lets get off this run around lark as two of you have changed topics already and stick with the one in hand please. Wheel has been dished as i now found my other spoke key in me car. It's over by a good 3mm if not 4mm and the mags and pads are just lining up but thread is shwoing on the spokes now...so frame is bent.
  6. Agh contray my mear mortal friend Baby throwing there bottle of the pram
  7. The old drive shell is a easy one to as you say like. I use a set of tube holder in the vise to hold the shell or an old solid cassette body. Long nose pliers or a screwdriver and mallet to undo the ring. Found a small wodden dowle is good to eject the old bearing. Fit in the new and use the dowel again to seat them in and pack down and then lock ring with pliers and then tap it up with screw drive. It's all about minuplaton of tools and just working it out in hand before you twat it one. Though the the hop cap tool fits the drive shell ring i just got told
  8. I'm only quoting what you said mate, so allow the ''dig'' Yeah there stand is soemthing like that, has loittle cod bit that are spring loded with rollers on to read the placement of the wheel. They don't have a dishing tool at all as it's spot on all the time they say. Just spoke to mike and he thinks it's out by 2/3mm the stand alone...he's toying with it some more just to be sure like. Now i can't even find my spoke key at home
  9. Nope it aint my work as that was aid in one other post that you did have involvement with as you well know. The stand they have at the shop has a built in dish scale, very strange. Mike's testing it now to check to see if it's off. Can i have some pics of erm...your... As i said to al lthat have bugged me for ages on msn and Tf etc i don't have any here. They be on my laptop where they stay for the time being till i am ready. Maybe come Mk4 which is going to be my 1st aluminum one i might show you all as Mk4 i think will be final frame. Back to topic in hand please.
  10. Sorry Mark my mistake i could of swarn you had passed comment. I withdraw my stament about your self. Sorry mate. In regards to Al it was just outlining that he built his in the frame so it's been dished to it. I shall dish mine tommorrow a si'm in the shop then as my spoke ket at home is toilet...
  11. Well i built the wheel. It was my 875th one exactly and 1st time i built a Ronnie and it was uber fun. 20 mins job done, did it a si watch GMTV with that Kate (big brested one) and then Loraine Kelly on LK Today. Tarty was well Jellous from his txt heheh. Guess i could dish it more but 5mm is a fair wack...got a feeling the truning stand that i 1st used is bent, only a feleing. Just speaking to Anal and he said:- Anal - Dece. says: I just dished the wheel to the frame didn't use a wheel stand or dishing tool Oh my god, how good is my king says: What you built the wheel within ? Anal - Dece. says: I don't know if its central I just built the wheel in the frame Thus not impling 2 of x amount of Coust are bent but it means soemthing. Guess i'll just dish it over by the 5mm Mark as it has been detailed already it's been sold and you even brough it up in a recent topic and i told you exactly whats happend with it. Mk4 is in the works, the works being thinking of what to do as totaly new and rad desing. been looking at some Kidi bikes for inserperation
  12. Just gone to set my brakes up with my new pads that i made only to find she be bent. Wheel is dished spot on, checked it 5 times, both in the stand and with dishing tool. Tried Koxx Red, Koxx Browns, Coust's own pads, Heatsinks, STD Magura, Plazmatic CRM's All had to have one slave in all the way and the other about 3/4 the way. I'm runinng a Onza Ronnie undrilled just for ref and she's 38mm. Anone eles found there Coust is bent?? Oh it's all out by 5mm exactly. Not a lot but enough to make brakes a pain in the ass. Guess i could dish my wheel more by 5mm or an old bolt-on-axle and a bit of bending but for the sake of tweaking some nipples might be worth just doing that. So yeah anyone got a bent coust??
  13. Okay this is random. Need a block (doesn't have to be) that has 3 M6 thread in there. Nee done M6 at the front then the other 2 out the back, or all 3 can be in a line togther. Anyone got an idea where i can get such item of randomnees?? Need to be like a spliter one to 2 you get me? Must have M6 threads in there and high st or soemthing for it be good... Pete
  14. Well i've every bit of faith in my workshop abitly and have been doing it for an age now. Plus i have the money to amend my mistake
  15. Okay thats doesn't sounnd good. That drive side bearing is a very tight fit unless you've a buggered shell and bearing or finger that are small and have like a ton in strength
  16. it's fine as long as you use a 1/4'' and get it in the right spot. You'll be aplying presure where the king tool would anyways so it's of no differnce what so ever. I did it laods back in the day but only recenlty started to ride with a king again and done in to mine. A few mates got me to do there yesterday too
  17. Agh thats only cleaning the surface of it dude not getting in to it all where it matters like. Yeah i did use to do it like that and get it uber clean and dry and the hub sounded very loud but now to me tuning it up as i use to when i had my tool it runs so much better. Also a good tug on the spring don't go a miss but a tug not strech
  18. Dude your grad eis an F so far. We can help but not this much. G's Get your disc off and take some drawings of it, pics, CAD it if you can, even cam, measure it like there is no tomorrow
  19. LOL classic i once ran Pyslo XC's on my XC bike once. Bloody lovely they where on that thing. Could do trails, xc, freeride, street, easy dh, trials. Might go wacke a set on built it up for a bit of fun like
  20. Okay so in the workshop today and my king after dishing the wheel a bit more didn't sound happy. Not wanting to put a burden on Tarty or Spoons who have hub tools a si couldn't be bothered to go home and get mine i found a trust mallet and 1/4'' screwdrive. Step 1. Remove Axle and Drive shell Step 2. If you've low income and no faith within your self thus > Pray like your as sis about to be blown up by a nuke thats strapped to your tiny ass. Step 3. Slid in fromt non drive to drive side the 1/4'' wide screwdriver and seat the tip of the screwdrive in the driven ring. Thats the big ring thats sat next to the big drive bearing, you rest the screw drive on the lip of it but right at an angle down. Don;t worry it's hard as nails and dosn't bend, crush etc etc Step 4. Hold the wheel so the drive is at your crutch. Yes if you wish to you may go ahead and fantersise of you must. Holding the wheel thus you have non drive in front of you. Ie using your crutch to hold the bearing for when you take action etc. Step 5. Deep breath, in..... and out..... now tap the hammer with some beef (beans, effort, guts) Step 6. Move wheel 90* (deg) and repeat Step 5. Step 7. Move wheel 45* and repeat Step 5. Step 8. Move wheel again but by 90* (deg) and again repeat Step 5. By now you have notied some movement of the Drive side bearing and the ring etc. This is good but that bearing must be all as one bit or your bugged and IT AINT MY FAULT. Step 9. Providing all of the above is going sweet then go round from Stps 5 to Step 8 til lthat bearing comes out in your crutch. Step 10. No lay out the gubbing that makes the Chris King Ring Drive System as follows:- Drive bearing White nylon ring Driven ring (prest into hub shell) Drive ring Spring Spring Catch plate Step 11. Pat you self on the abck, go make a brew, mine milky with about a bag of sugar in there. You've just done soemthing which i know of no one eles doing or they havent spoke of it. saved you self a lot on a hub tool or waiting for others to help. Also trusted you self but risking an expensive hub. Now if you've seen Tart's vid then you'll know what to do to clean it all up, if not get me on msn. To put it back together insert it all as it came out and then Step 1. Push hard by hand with wheel on the floor the drive bearing in, fully body weight on it and as squar as you can. Step 2. Take 1 decent rubber mallet Step 3. Physic your self Step 4. raise your arm with rubber mallet in hand. Step 5. Pray Steap 6. Take hand and lower arm at verlosity stricking the bearing face on. Step 7. That should of set it in a bit. now do the same again with smaller taps and repate till it's in past the outter cage. it wont go in anymore than it wants. So yeah if your lucky to own a king and want to have a look, clean and fondle it's gubbing this is one way on the cheap but very riskay to do it but it's all good like. My hub now is sound as. feels so much better after my tune up in the shop today, spins a lot better both rolling, pedal back, crank flip. Mind i did run it dry. Meh Oh yeah IF YOU MAKE IT GO ALL PETE TONG IT'S NOT MY FAULY AND DON;T COME CRYING TO ME WHAT SO EVER AS ALL I'LL DO IS SAY LEAST YOU TRIED IT. IF YOU WANT HELP JUST ASK ME. ONCE AGAIN IF IT BREAKS, FAILS, CRACKS, GOES WRONG, SCREWDRIVER IN YOUR BALLS, VAGINA (yes we have some female riders in this sport) IT'S NOT MY FAULT (though i shall feel really guilt for a screwdriver on the female part, sorry lads should you have this missunfortunent event. more than likely i belive) IT'S NOT MY FAULT WHAT SO EVER. Have fun kids Pete mwahahah
