    Electricians advice?

Yeah we're having the bathroom redone really soon so I might have them replaced with something a little more bathroom friendly. The cables looked fine so no worries there.

Thanks, bought some food grade USP VG. I don't use PG so that's not an issue. 32oz for $11

Can you use store bought VG to vape, like this... http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/aura-cacia-vegetable-glycerin/ID=prod6275149-product http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/aura-cacia-vegetable-glycerin/ID=prod6275149-product ...or does it have to be something special?

    Electricians advice?

I turned all the power off using the main switch. It was pretty easy to replace. 2 live, 2 white, 1 earth. Terminals were in the same place. Job done.

    Electricians advice?

Replaced and fixed. So happy it was an easy fix. Now I got to try sort the roof out to stop it from happening again. Although it looks fine.

Took me a few mins to get it too. Thanks, sounds like a plan! If you don't hear back from me I died.

I don't think I'll be going much lower than .2 anyway but just wanted to make sure I knew the limits. Thanks!

    Electricians advice?

So good news. The furnace lives. Any burnt smell must have been it's natural odor. I discovered this when, even with the fuse out, it turned on. I assumed it was on the same fuse as the rest of the bathroom. It seems that a mains socket is a little bit discolored and melted in the bathroom. I'm guessing a drop of water got into that and f**ked it up. Is there any reason why I can't replace this myself?

    Electricians advice?

Yeah. The thing that's annoying me is I don't know 100% sure where the problem is. The furnace still has power to it with the fuse blown. I'm now doubting if it's the furnace at all, although it could be powered from two different sources with it being gas with an electric fan and a AC unit altogether. But yeah I'm done messing with it. At least I know the fuses are doing their job.
  10. I was woken this morning to what sounded like 50 buzzing cellphones going off. Power is out in a couple of rooms of the house. Swap out dead fuse, turn the main back on to hear the same buzzing and the fuse blew within seconds. Sounded like it was coming from the furnace so took a look and could smell a faint burning smell. I do have a leak right about it, and we've had some serious rain the last couple of days. Even though I'm pretty sure I contained the leak as it's only coming down in one spot, I'm thinking some water must have gotten in there and f**ked something up majorly. Is there any steps I can take at all to help myself out here or is it expensive electrician time? Am I safe running the power for the rest of the house for now?

Oh really? I've only sent money overseas so maybe there's a different fee associated.

Safety check please? Two Sony VTC4s in parallel. My math says I can run right down to .08ohm. But obviously I'll keep it above .1ohm. Is that correct?
  13. Oh they are both truly 1440. They're both going to look amazing. The 97 looks so much better. The 95 reminds me of flat screen TVs pre-HD when grey was in thing.
  14. That image won't help you out too much because it considers the screen to be 9:16. IIRC the 34" LG is going to be the same as a 27-28" 1080 regular monitor. If it was truly a 1440p monitor you would be able to notice the difference between 1080 and 1440 sat up close. Oh wait I might actually be wrong, what's the actual model number of the monitor you're looking at?

    The Angry Thread.

This is from my experience of gifting money though paypal. It seems that when you gift money it allows you to choose whether you pay the feees or they do. If you don't send it as a gift it automatically takes it out their end. So if you sent $20 they'll only actually get $19.34 or something like that. I don't think it's a scam, I just think people ask for it to be sent as a gift so that it gives the buyer the choice on how the fee is to be deducted, and if you agreed on $20 you're more likely to pay for the fees yourself. So yeah, figure out what the fees are and add that on if he has an issue with it, if he insists on the gift option then walk away. If you gift money and you receive nothing, paypal won't back you up at all because with the gifting option there's no requirement to have actuality sent anything. This is also what I tell my Western Union customers who are buying things online, but they still don't realize they're getting scammed.
  16. I was recently talking to a friend who was looking at getting the very same monitor, 34" LG ultra wide. I would personalty never go for it because all 16:9 stuff is gonna look like shit on it. So pretty much all media is going to have black bars at the side of it and I'd just be spending extra money for black pixels. I would also miss duel monitors. Like right now for example I was watching a YouTube video and flicking though TF on my secondary monitor, and when I saw this post I dragged and maximized the TF window over the video. I feel doing this kind of stuff on one monitor wouldn't work as seamlessly and you'd have to rely on your OS's features to split the screen rather than the monitors acting as the boundary. As for the size of the monitor, I have a 27" 9:16 and by your numbers the 34" ultrawide is going to be the same height as mine so that should be big enough by a long way. The only one thing I can think curved would be awesome for is to reduce viewing distance. With such a big monitor close up, the center of the screen is going to be closer to your eyes than the edges, and you actually end up looking at parts of the monitor at an angle possibly distorting colors like what happens on a cheat TN panel. However with ISP panels these days that might not be an issue. My friend ended up buying a 29" UW monitor and hated it because it was a VA panel and ghosted like crazy.
  17. It's funny how the picture in the article looks like balls.
  18. You get 110 ppi on a 40" 4k TV. That's the same ppi as a 21" monitor at 1080p. So even though it is massive, it should still look good close up, but nothing amazing. You can also run into a few issues by using a TV... although a lot of these issues have been resolved in newer TVs, you can have overscan issues. Last time I used a TV as a monitor I had to choose between VGA, or HDMI that looked like shit. Other issues with using a TV is that TV's aren't really designed for use as a monitor so they tend to not worry about input lag as much, although, again most newer tvs have either gaming modes, or monitor modes to cut all that processing out. If you're just sitting back and watching stuff or gaming it'll be great. But for use as an actual monitor which is what you seem to intend to do with it, might not be a good idea.

Ok so parallel it is. Seems to me that most of the stuff is parallel anyway. Can you really go wrong buying a unregulated mod? I mean at the end of the day is a box with a button right? Was thinking something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/181846191526?ul_noapp=true or http://www.ebay.com/itm/Abaddon-Unregulated-Mechanical-Box-Mod-Vaporizer-Clone-Copper-Black-Silver-Blue-/151723052829?var=&hash=item2353660f1d
  22. So my 650ti is in the 10th band right? So, I'm looking for the 7950 in the second column? ... because it's a Radeon. The only 7950 I see is in the 6th row down. Edit: I see where I'm going wrong. Got it upside down haha. Maybe I will take it. Just bought GTA5 so wouldn't hurt for that.
  23. So I'd be going BACK 4 bands if I were to buy this?
