Yeah it was a great event. Sections were really good, really well set out. In the dry they were super grippy but in the rain, deadly haha. I wish the weather would make up its mind though. It was way too hot on the first lap, then way to wet and crappy on the second haha. I thought the programs where really good. Should have them at all rounds. Was a good day, had a good ride, had fun. I think what makes the top guys ride that much harder and the thing that makes them learn every technique in every form of it, useing long run ups, short run ups, doing it to the left, to the right etc. Is because the HAVE to. If they go to a competiton and theres a sidehop from a slopped take off going to their wrong side, they have to be able to do it, they cant just go " oh i cant sidehop left well, so i wont do it." they must do it, if they want to do well. Thats why i think( my opinion) competition riders are that much better than pure street riders. Comp riders have to learn techniques if they want to make it through sections. Whereas street riders *usually* just learn moves because there the thing of the month. they are usually learnt on a nice square wall with as much run up as i like, and once they learn it, thats it, they can just repeat it all the time,unlike in a comp, where no 2 obstacles are ever usually the same...... Yeah, i thought it was a really good comp, everyone seemed to be having a laugh and a nice time. Sections were good, the ones the sand/stoney banks up the far end were a bit annoying, you would get a perfect line, and the next time you went there the whole thing would be completely different!. Same as man, i dont think the heat affected me that much, apart from sweating stupidly loads, i different really suffer with exhaustion, until the very last section. I think i got through 2 drinks bottles and a bottle of lucozade. The thing that ruined the day was the journey home. It should of taken us about 2 hours............. instead it took us 5!!!!! Some accident/crash/ufo landing or summin. BUT i did see the legend ROB WARNER on the motorway, we followed him for a while and the cruised next to him, he looked at me!!! Wooooo hahaha. made my day haha. So yeah, was a good day,had a good ride, finished on 14 in expert, so done ok. Will see y'all at the next one. Peace out Scott

Yes i think you should be able to, if you decide to do any bigger comps, like nationals, you will need a BIU license.

Hello and welcome!! Biketrials is a grand sport, so its good your back(Y). Im the complete opposite to you! Ive been doing biketrials for 10 years now, i got a motorbike about 4 years ago, and i rode it for a year none stop, luved it. I done a few club comps( came 2nd in my first one, then 4th then 3rd).But where i do biketrials comps most weekends|( i do club, national and international) i kind of lost the time to do it, really wnat to get back into it proper, i think if i stuck with it and tryed hard i could of been alright on it. I used to hang around with Toni bou at the world championships a few years back when he rode, im sure you've heard of him! So, yeah welcome! What type of international comps have you done?? To be honest it does snd a bit^^ Why would they give some random(ish) lad a prototype bike? just for the fun of it? How did he get hold of it? espcially before the world champion team rider and there tester(?) ( mark?) If you can get some genuine proof. then we will beleave, but before that................

I am seriously impressed Some really amazing riding on there, really impressed with the straight up to front wheel post box things, lol, you where doing ( so impressed i dunno what to call them at the moment!!) Normally i really dont like street vids, always the same old thing, sidehop, gap, sidehop etc. And i downloaded your last video, and wasnt very impressed ( sorry :$ )and couldnt see what all the fuss about you was. But after watching this vid, i have changed my opinion on you You have a lot of bottle, and a lot of talent. BTW, i thought all you cool internet dudes where saying," oh linkin parks crap for vids, used to much, its rubbish" .................................... .........what have you all just been saying Maybe you've just made it cool again Nice one mate. Yeah, was a great weekend, loads of fun, really enjoyed myself, as did everyone else. The trial was near impossible!!! stupidly hard, wet, and muddy. PERFECT!!!!, proper trials!! to show how hard it was, and how close the results where. In junior ( 15,16,17 year olds) there were 26 riders, and 10 of them finished on maximum!. I came 9th on 74, james sheridan came 13th on 76, and the guy in 4th place was on 73!!.Pretty close haha. Well done to danny and lois on there wins, and i would also like to say well done to ryan crisp and patrick smith, it was there first ever international comp, and they gave it a really good go and done well(Y). scott

He still does demos with cesar a bit, and goes round with cesar and danni at the worlds. He's now the big boss of monty (has been for about 2 years) He has got a bit past it now, being the first ever trials rider and riding for 30 years!!!, but he can still ride a bike pretty damn well. Scott

I had it today I had to do, romeo and juliet, war poetry pre whatever lol, and of mice and men. Done foundation. It took me about 20 minuites to even start! But once i got into it, was ok, spent way to much time on R+J, and spent agess on war poetry, cause i didnt have a Fu**ing clue!! and by the end ofit i had to do of mice and men in 20 min, easy lol. I fail down 100 more to go Scott

Hellooo Tom. TSG do some really nice lids. heres a link to therebike helmets, but they also do loads of skate ones etc. I got a TSG evolution Timo helmet on thursday, and its the dogs danglys, real comfy loads of protection, looks pretty cool aswell. How this has enlightened you in some way Scott
