    Tar?

thats all well and good if your a dirty street eater, but at comps grinds are much more consistant, especially when it rains or you have to ride through a stream
  2. I can do them on slippery surfaces, but not grippy ones, I have never been too great at spinny rear wheen stuff though not sure if its been said, but it helps a lot to look at where your wanting to go, the body will follow.
  3. whenever I am helping a new rider, I always say that trials is about body movments, Body English is the key. if you wanted to throw a rock, then you have to preload and then launch it, its exactly the same with trials
  4. whoooo, I like it (for a mod) its nice and simple, twin triangle and a seat!!! it looks ace
  5. I have a pair of Ribos, they are really nice, tight fit, grippy, light and offer good feedback through the pedals.
  6. bent the axle in the mean machine I was going to ride tomorrow, I guess I'll just ride my normal bike and try and do well for the team.
  7. pedaling is the "normal" way. but bunnyhoping seems to work better if you can do it. ps, why a front hook, why not just a hook?
  8. PROMS!!!!! how long have people been doing these? they were an amreical only thing when I went to school. Though even if they were around when I left school, I couldnt have gone as I left in yr 9. and even if I did do my gcses and left in yr 11 AND there was a prom, I wouyldnt have gone as I didnt like anyone at my school and I would have been bored out of my mind, also, I HATE wearing posh clothes. BAHHH HUMBUG!!!
  9. without having my dairy around, do you know if it clashes with any other events (worlds)? if not, you cant keep me away!!
  10. sorry mat dont like T mags REALLY dont like flouresent rims and tilt your bloody bars back!!!! like the sidehop though
  11. echo stems are very boring though If the hope is too much, then the titec rip stem is spot on!! I think they are £17 and have a lifetime warrenty.
  12. that place does look pretty cool. I really dont like those frames though
  13. hope if you have the cash, titec rip stem if your on a buget
  14. I didnt f**k up my career. I dont think you gave it long enough, you reap what you sow (or somthing like that) it may take longer to get good on 26", but once your good you have learned more bike handling skills than riding a mod would have. mods are more like instant results, but stocks take more time, but it pays in the end. (trust me!!)
  15. I would rather break my £14 mech than my £15 hanger
  16. I aint sure where you can get it, I just randomly had it lying around. Iolo can make you a hanger, it will be nicer then mine too.
  17. its about 4mm, its really strong heat treated stuff though, I cant see it bending even if I put it in a vice!!!
  18. I made myself a steel mech hanger, it was really easy, I just used a hacksaw, drill and a file. I have had it on my bike ever since I got it and its never bent, and I have landed pretty heavily on the mech a few times. give it a go.

    Plate Fire Video

well impressed!! janson can tap dam high!! though his gaps look funny Peter, I love the sidehop twists to thin things Editing was good too, liked the music and was funny in places.
  20. liked it I have ridden that castle before and know how tough it is, so it gets my respect. I liked the editing too.
  21. gahhhhhh I say this farrr too much!!!!!! but I reccomend an Ashton Justice. keep your parts and just get that frame, the difference will be incredible! the justice is very easy to get used to and rides amazingly well! please dont get a mod, the good thing about old skoolers is most of them ride stock and swear by them
  22. I say this to most people (and most ignore me) but tilt your bars back!! seriously, it will make your bike ride 100x better maybe making you stick with it and saving a lot of money. if you do go and get another bike, do me and yourself a favour and dont go high bb.
