  1. no problemo, I was a little confused I will however run singlespeed on my bmx
  2. good frame, hardish to dent, low bb, really nice bike.
  3. what happened last week? I still have gears now, I had gears at the beginning of the year
  4. you dont have room for one more do you? I am needing to find a lift there pronto!!
  5. if I am going I may be able to give you a lift
  6. DEFFO go for a hope floating rotor!! they are lighter, stiffer and harder to bend than a normal rotor. aint cheap though.
  7. shimano, nothing comes close!!
  8. backwards manual down a rail, that would get my juices flowing
  9. never ran heatsink blues, but I had a set of reds and I liked them lots. On a fresh grind they were beastly!! mega grab, mega hold mega HONK! However, I found as the grind wore down, they would glaze over and loose all of the bite, perfect for manuals, but not great for natural.
  10. well said, I agreeeven though I am pretty much a natrual rider, I dont really like all these long low bikes, I prefer my medium length steep head angle bike, it wouldnt bother me if it had a seat either
  11. I think some people didnt see where it said the frame isnt really going to be on sale. I love the frame, I dont really like all these long low seatless bikes (ashton doesnt count;)) Ali C approves this frame
  12. I am scared for my life when I use 05 levers
  13. kinda sounds like the piston is bottoming out in the lever before the brake has time to contact fully. I reccomed a new bleed but remember to unwind the tpa all the way out.
  14. it will be VERY hard to make a tensioner work on the top of the chainstays, the forces put through when riding will either bend a fixed one, or force the spring down on a sprung one making the engament feel crap and letting the bottom of the chain droop down and make it noisy and possibly come off all together.
  15. I may/may not be able to come. I have a hospital apointment at 1, so if that lasts an hour, then is say two hours drive that means I'll be getting there at 4ish, might not be worth me going. but we'll see
  16. ashton is nicer than the echo, I feel the echo has too short chainstays.
  17. the levers look interesting, but I darnt use the 05 levers as I have seen them just snap with no warning. the other bits dont interest me really. oh, and I call a GU a Goooooo, and tra is traa not tee arr aye
  18. I says monty, the only mods I actually like the ride of!!
  19. check ebay, they usually have a few on....they wont have vee mounts though and deffo not disk, they may come with U brake mounts, but if you send it to iolo or someone, they can move them and add a disk mount too.

    Tar?

thats all well and good if your a dirty street eater, but at comps grinds are much more consistant, especially when it rains or you have to ride through a stream
  21. I can do them on slippery surfaces, but not grippy ones, I have never been too great at spinny rear wheen stuff though not sure if its been said, but it helps a lot to look at where your wanting to go, the body will follow.
  22. whenever I am helping a new rider, I always say that trials is about body movments, Body English is the key. if you wanted to throw a rock, then you have to preload and then launch it, its exactly the same with trials
  23. whoooo, I like it (for a mod) its nice and simple, twin triangle and a seat!!! it looks ace
  24. I have a pair of Ribos, they are really nice, tight fit, grippy, light and offer good feedback through the pedals.
