I love them! I have some one off suade ones, they are very comfy! I did a days work in them and my feet were fine afterwards (did it to kinda break them in). They are a very close fit, which give maximum feedback through the pedals, the grips is also really good. They apparently have ankle protection, but its just neoprene, it wont offer much if any protection but it at least makes them comp legal. Unfortunatly, I ripped a buckle off one in a crash at the Euros, I am waiting for a replacement through my lbs, I cant ait till I can wear them again!

best hub I have had. solid engament, stiff wheel and I havnt had it skip yet after 4 months! gotta add a bad point or two though.....I blew a bearing after a month, apparently they have put new different (better) ones in now, so shouldnt be a prob....the other thing is gears, it really needs to be a 9spd setup to allow use of all 6 gears....now I dont trust 9spd chains, so my gears are a bit stroppy, but it still shifts into them and passes comp rules, so its all good.

I have a bit of ginger in my beard, I always thought it was creasote, but it grows back when I shave, so I dont think it is.

when he was over here in 04, he competed in the Tech04 comp which was a uci thing. He entered masters and came 2nd behind butler.......so he can compete and can do pretty well!

as far as I understand Orange are just importing the frames from tiwan, so I think the frames are just going to be the same as before. I havnt actually spoken to Mart about it, so thats not set in stone.

I always see people with soaked tops from sweating!! I have never sweated enough for any clothing to get wet (other than damp socks) I sweat very little

it sure is..... I was asking orange for sponsorship last year and I did a few designs (that paint one is a crap one) and I wanted it to be simular to other orange designs beacause A) cheaper to make if they could use the same parts from other bikes and people would instantly recognise it as an orange. I may not be an engineer, but I thought with that design the "swingarm" would want to be pushing the toptube in comression (strong) and kinda pushing the downtube down, but with the downtube being a big mucher trucker, it wouldnt matter as much as its plenty strong enough for the dh frames having the shock mount trying to puch directly in the middle. I have loads of other drawings of different ways of making a raised chainstay frame.

I agree it is nice, that design of mine was to be my sig model if ever Ashton went down that road. At least I can have the good feeling that my designs work and are worthy of the "top" brand to produce.

it gets your weight further back, puts your shoulders, arms, wrists in a better shape for pulling up etc

the f**king bastards!!!!! first they do the bow, which means I can now never make my frame design which was simular, and now this!! get what you want, but the key thing to bunnyhops and manuals is having back sweep on your bars, so get them tilted back.
