To be fair that says more about you. 4 cans isn't a large amount to get you drunk. Unless your trying to count over the limit to drive which isn't drunk in the slightest. There's a huge difference between being drunk and having slower reactions. Generally i'd class drunk as showing 3 or more of the following... Loss of balance Slurred speech Loss of inhibitions (saying stuff you wouldn't etc) Becoming angry or violent against your usual nature Memory blackouts Numbing of the lips/tongue 4 can's for me isn't enough to affect me much at all, and i'll happily have 10 or so cans and still be talking away coherently and calculated like i normally would. Pints are different, normally it's between 6-8 pints before i find a slight loss of inhibition, by 10 or so i'll be onto spirits and then it'll take a while before loss of balance and slurred speech. I have been known to drink a litre of vodka as pre night-out drinks and usually the night will end up in me being very drunk indeed with all of the symptoms above. It's not something i'm ashamed of, in fact quite the opposite... however i do recognise the inherent health risks associated with it and wouldn't condone someone else to do the same.

Traxxas nitri 4-tec for me, the original one from when it first came out. Only road car i've had that used to do stunts and jumps

The snapped one is on the floor, it's currently running a 170mm truvativ non drive side and 175mm burn on the other. Feels awful

Yeah the newer version of the dmr hub runs 6 pawls and is supposed to be a fair chunk better. I was just highlighting the 3 pawl one as CRC still sell it and it's the worst hub i've ever had. It skips when pedalling on a flat floor, just normal riding. A complete joke of a hub system.
-
Mines better, it has brakes and cranks too
-
The new halo hubs are supposed to be pretty good to be honest, though pretty much any of these will be fine so long as its not the 3 pawl dmr hub or one of the cheap shimano/dt swiss hubs. If you look at things above/around £70 you'll be onto a winner.

They're not going to be worried about it after killing themselves so i'd be inclined to suggest that's the fastest and most effective way of getting over it. I think the thing everyone is missing is how much is this worth to you. If you cheat on your current girl and the new one knows it she won't be sticking around for long because she knows you can't be trusted. Long term or short, which one do you value more?
-
If i come along and pin you to the floor then proceed to poke you in the ribs repeatedly as hard as i can in order to provoke a reaction i'm pretty sure you'd be pissed off if i told you i was only doing it because you hate it and you need to get a sense of humour.

You'd never have snapped them... you're tiny!

Why Is Trials Riding So Big In The Uk (and Nowhere Else?)
Krisboats replied to duckwars's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Us british have a lot of patience so we're perfect for the slow progression rate of our riding ability that comes with this sport. That's why we're great at queuing too -
Pretty much everything.... here

Sure was, snapped clean in half. Luckily it was only on a 3-4 foot drop so no major injuries. Gonna have to give them a ring tomorrow as it's got some lines running through the inside of it... who knows, they may be nice and warranty it!

I'm still using a khe collapse on mine. 2 years now and still going strong. I snapped the crank arm before the chain
-
God damn it danny, we were keeping that quiet. Now we're gonna have to look at introducing the subliminal mind wipe program....

It is stretched abnormally because your wheel isn't a circle it's an oval. Anyway, enough of the childishness.

I think what he's trying to say is that seeing as you've messed people about before with loads of excuses and taking ages to sort things out that you're on your last chance. A week is more than enough for the two of you to come to some kind of agreement or resolution and if the buyer isn't sorted or happy with how its going in a week or so then you'll have earned the title. Seeing as the buyer is wanting to wait though it's best if this topic is left for a while and any non-helpful, inflammatory posts from anybody will just be removed to keep the topic bitching free.

I thought they used to, but didn't want to mention it in case I'd just remembered it incorrectly.

Just wanted to re-iterate the important parts here. If you send something without having recorded delivery you have to be willing to accept the consequences of it. In this case damon if you can't find the receipt you should still refund him the money. As a seller it's your responsibility to ensure that the buyer receives what they've ordered. If you don't want to pay for recorded delivery out your own pocket sell the items for a pound or two more, i'm pretty sure people won't mind the extra cost if it's "guaranteed" to get to them. The only thing you'll have to do any different is say "can i send this first class recorded" instead of just saying first class. Hardly a mammoth effort for anybody. EDIT: It looks like royal mail don't do anything in terms of compensation for lost items if the item's not got a tracking number like JT said. Have a look here, http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump3?c...ediaId=15500181 and read through what it says. If you didn't send it recorded this time then you've probably got no fall back unfortunately and you'll have lost out in this instance.
