Good point, im an idiot, haha. Anyone used hi fi speakers and an amp, and found its a lot better than normal amplified pc speakers? Is it worth buying an amp for? Cheers.

I dont fancy taking my TV or hi fi to uni, and want to use my PC to do everything (bought a TV/radio card, and want to wire up my hi fi speakers). Basically, ive got 2 nice gale speakers which have the standard input of 2 wires. My sound card has jack plug inputs and im wondering is there any way i can wire up my speakers to a jack plug? I could take one off an old set of headphones but im not sure how id wire the speakers up to it. Anyone know how this is done/if its possible?! Cheers Noz

Hahaha.......why has a newspaper done an article on that they need to find more stuff to write about. i dont personally care about how people dress or listen to or whatever, sometimes ill laugh at them but thats only the really bad ones.

Got my accomodation pack this morning... i put harry french as my first choice (was in a bit of a hurry choosing accom just before i left on holiday). From the campus map it looks close to the loughborough technology department, if thats where ill be studying? (Engineering with foundation year). Looks closer than all the other halls? Hmm just looked online and it seems most engineering buildings are south of the campus and im way up north.... Reckon its too late to change? Is it that much of a trek? (i'll probably take a bike)

Off to loughborough uni in october and im choosing my accomodation. So far ive narrowed it down to: Telford Harry French John Phillips as i want self catered with hand basin. Could buy a creative zen sleek full price but itd be so annoying if i bought it then argos brought it back in stock for £110. Anyone know where i can get it cheap apart from there? Are creative better than ipods? Ipod really worth the money?
