I've had this problem for a little while but i really wanna edit a video now so im pissed off my mate gave me some mpg files on a CD from his DVD camera and when i open them, they play, but a 'windows media player has encountered a problem' box comes up, and when i click 'Don't send', the program closes. This also happens in VLC media player and adobe, but in adobe i cant actually edit/play the vids, the program just crashes. I dont get whats up, it cant be codecs as they play, and i have all the codecs anyway (i think). Anyone got any ideas?

All i did was plug it into the xbox, choose infrastructure mode and it works... also if your router is 54G or whatever, and your adapter is 11.8B, make sure youve configured your router so it gives out the B and G signal (had that problem with mine).

I had the same game adapter for my xbox - are you using it for a console or a pc?

Im not sure what codecs it'll use. When i opened a video file straight from the CD it seemed to play but windows explorer crashed aswell...really odd

OK i dragged and dropped them into a folder now, but when i open any of them, it just crashes explorer/adobe/windows media/VLC media player...anything............weird and very annoying any help?

My friend burnt some mpg files for me, from his computer after exporting from his mini-DVD cam, they work fine on his computer but when i open a video file from CD/drag and drop a video file to my PC windows explorer crashes and it just generally cocks up. Anyone know why this might be happening? Cheers

is it me or does every topic turn into somethin about racism? lol, i thought this was a topic about having flags on your car im not personally bothered, i think they look crap, but fair enough for supporting england, im not gonna get angry about some people putting england flags on their car and football is a good sport

When i think of the word 'drugs' i do think of those stereotypical 'druggys'. Quite a lot of my old mates started smoking weed and stuff, i dont really have a problem with it, but its sort of become a lifestyle which i think is stupid. Ive personally never tried it or any other illegal drugs and i dont particularly want to, but i dont have a problem with others doing it. I think it does sort of seperate and group people though, all the druggys around here all hang around being their grungy selves. Just my opinion because of people i know round here.
