Pads:Heatsink Batch B Time used:Around 5 months Rim used:ALEX DX31 (i think thats what its called....) Grind: Yes Ceraminc: No Brake used: Magura What is your opinion of a working brake: A brake that works (N) How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Have used koxx bloxx, plazmatic CRMs and koolstops. Heatsinks are probably the best ive used. Plazmatic CRMs were brilliant in summer, but suck a bit in the wet, even on a grind. Heatsinks seem to be very consistent. I think theyre also a lot grippier than koxx bloxx and have more bite. Review: Very nice pads. For the first few rides they seemed to be worse than my koxx bloxx.CRMs, but after a little while they were perfect, and are very good. Only disadvantage after this is the wear rate, but theres enough pad there to last a fair while. Hold very well, even in the wet, and seem to work a lot better than koxx bloxx on clean rims aswell as grinds. Very pleased :( .

I'd go for some pazzaz (or onza) carbon 'riser' bars. £50 for the onzas from supercycles.

My new ride: Spec: Frame: Monty x-lite 03 Forks: Monty X-lite 03 Bars: Onza carbon Stem: Echo Front wheel: Onza t-pro, echo tyre Back wheel: Onza t-mag, monty tyre Grips: ODI S&M lock on Brakes: Magura hs33, ground rims. Plazmatic CRM pads on front, heatsink on rear. Rear monty booster and RB booster. Headset: Monty (soon to be FSA pig). Cranks: Monty X-lite ISIS with monty BB. Pedals: Wellgo caged (getting new VPs sometime). Chain: KMC Cool. Rides nice so far, ive only tried it in my garage as its raining. I've now taken: Biology, Physics, Geography, ICT. I know what you mean about the summer going fast, gone past faster than all the others, and its twice as long...

I really want to get rid of maths though, as im not great at it and thats why i had a tutor. I just wanna know if maths is really needed in order to do physics a-level? I really liked physics GCSE but apparently the a-level courses are much different and involve much more maths.
-
Im really having trouble deciding between physics and biology now.... anyone had experiences with these? My maths tutor i had for my GCSEs said that physics is very hard at A2 level if you dont take maths aswell, as they link together. I got an A in maths GCSE but im not keen at all in taking it as an A level, so im not sure if i should take physics? But i prefered physics to biology at GCSE level... (although got B's in both)..

I'm still not completely decided but im thinking: Geography, ICT, Physics (or biology), Psychology. What've you chosen so far? college tomorrow (Y)
