  1. Good ride boys, was cool to see some new faces! Random weather but it was pretty nice later in the evening...
  2. Yep, he wants to break the world record this year...
  3. But you could just do the same with IS... produce one caliper, and then put the mount on the forks in a different place? +20mm, +40mm etc... just like post mount does.
  4. Good lad! Now, when you get back on street, everything will be much easier... natural is definitely a challenge and it really improves your riding - I prefer it to street
  5. Ah cool, tis possible, all the ones I can picture just bolt straight on though. Yeah that is true, although in some ways it's just as 'constraining' as IS - you could just use IS at +20mm, +40mm position etc in the same way... Haha, I'm too passionate in my attempt to banish post mount
  6. Didn't realise the tri-align thing was on so many brakes... I've only seen it on Avids you see! I guess 'straight enough' isn't straight enough for me, haha :$ Possibly a bit too much of a perfectionist when it comes to brakes... The only trials forks I've seen with post mount are the new Atomz ones... I just don't really get the advantage of post mount, other than the obvious mechanical one (bolts not taking any load).
  7. I guess I should have added an 'IMO', haha. The reason I dislike post mount is that you can't face it - and I've never seen a pair of forks that are square = permanent pad/rotor misalignment.
  8. Good boys...!!! Should be there about 12 ish...
  9. As above... except post mount sucks and IS doesn't
  10. Stronger. Nice garden setup Ryan!
  11. Beast... I can practically smell the sea air Nice one guys
  12. Looks sweet, glad it arrived safely
  13. The original ones are the best Make sure you keep the rotors really clean... even oil from your skin can contaminate the pads! I imagine this is why performance is going downhill a little over time...
  14. Awesome, glad you like it James! Looking forward to vids

    Ymsa Trials

Good stuff Ad! Don't forget the 'YMSA WAGSaS' (and sisters) club will be out in force too as usual See you there gents
  16. Hehe, awesome vid... did you know that there is a 56.9% chance of breaking your ankle when trying to learn 360s? Not really, but they are scary!! Like the variety of moves on the sloping rock, some big stuff!
  17. No worries man, understand what it's like!
  18. I know, it's weird... I guess it hints that you can add an 'e' in though if you don't have the umlaut (sp?) on your keyboard Haha... we can be bike whores together? Rides really sweet so far, seems to gap further than you expect which is really weird... need to get more riding in though! Cheers Ads Haha!! I had a white one Gav Joe had the orange one... You around this weekend for some riding? Lol, cheers you hoebag
  19. Lol, thanks... Yep, should be! Cheers man! Yeah... was thinking that BUT the new Try-All forks are the same weight and they have a warranty..! Lol, cheeky I've had... 4 I think... lol Aah no, I'm 20" through and through now, haha! Yeah it was 7.88, but the Hoesel is just 'nicer' IMO. Cheers mister... we just had a delivery in you see with a few outstanding orders on it, I like to get pics of all bikes/frames/builds that go out as a 'momento' so might as well stick em up for all to see. Haha... possibly... Had to change the caliper too as the brake mount is at +20 (can run a 180mm rotor if wanted). To be honest... yeah. I'm a bit weird, I can get used to a frame almost completely in a ride or two. Even changing from 20" to 26" I'm fully at home again by the end of a decent natural ride. The Hoesel is really close to the DOB in terms of geo too. Probably won't be on a Kamel next... too long for me! Haha, thanks fatty... you and mong best be out Sunday!!
  20. £8 is a bit... cheeky!
  21. New frame for me... reason: DOB was a bit of a tester, to see how light I could get a bike and to check if I liked the geo. As Mr Hermance said to me... 'The BMW importer shouldn't drive an Audi' Geometry of this badboy: Wheelbase 995mm, Chainstay 350mm, BB rise 65mm, Reach 595mm, Head angle 72 degrees. Frame weight 1.63kg, bike weight 8.14kg. Just had a quick blast indoor, feels good Adam
