id say it was a hog they are great rims mines abit dead but i did run the spokes uber loose but still going strong.just thought id as imo hogs are a better rim than the ronnie's Ben

first of all did you check all the spokes were tight and no loose ones secondly did you land right on the edge of the curb if so no wonder that happend and thirdly are you a smooth rider as rims are weak with sloppy riders. Ben

Id go for an avid bb-5 as those little twisty bits on the size of the bb-7 like to pop off also they are only £40 from crc. Ben

Well there was only a few echo hubs out there 2 witch were damons and travs and the other 2 been Craig’s and neils so you cant exactly say you have heard bad things as the only one witch broke was damons and it was due to the fact of the engineering and material also the pawl and spring design was abit on and off so they were been re-designed ill try and find the post. link to post As for a wheel if you’re in a rush id get a profile on a hog or a koxx if not wait for the echo hub and get it on an echo rim Ben

The wheelbase on mine is supposed to 1030/1033 with team/easy forks and its 1047 so its around 15mm longer which was the same on the python my mate had before he got the gu so it will be around the 1010/1015 wheelbase on both the gu and team. Ben

well i have a long team and my mate has a long gu the are basicly the the the same geometry as i would imagain it will be the same with the short but you do have a longer cotpit on the team as it has less bb rise personaly id go for the team. Hope this helps Ben
