i know lots of you are avid health and exercise experts, so im after some advice. I'm 18yrs old, 5"8 and used to weigh around 10 and a half stone. A few months ago i got food poisening on holiday and went down to 9st 3! Ive been eating normally since and ive still only got up to 9st 7, cant put the weight on at all. I dont wanna get weedy, when i weighed more i used to do a lot of weights etc. i havnt done anything pretty much all summer, so could this have something to do with not gaining the weight back? Im gonna start training again, but do you reccommend weight gaining/protein supplements, or just the old fashioned work hard and gain muslce the conventional way? Cheers for any help

down in bournemouth. I imagine temps in an office job will be on a higher wage than say, working in Argos or something similar full time? ps....i work in Argos, hense the example. Dont make me work there full time, i cant handle the pain, please, PLEASE!

Hey all, A-Levels are outta the way and a year out between uni is upon me! So i've decided to do temping and get some money and 'experience'. Has anyone gone through temping agencies before, office angels, sos recruitment etc (the main companies i can think of that you may know?) How quick is the turn around from signing up and getting a call? I realise theres no set time scale but general advice would be coool, cheers

I have an M reg 106, 1.5 diesel bla bla similar to the one you're buying. I payed 775 for mine, it was in great condition from a private seller. 1300 is far too much to pay in my opinion. How come?

It seems both my brake lights arn't working, Ive had problems with them for a while. Bulbs seem to go within a matter of weeks. Ive had new foot brake switch (dont know what its called, switch under the foot brake that turns rear brake lights on...) not so long ago, so surely this couldn't have gone again?! Could it be re-wiring needed etc? Getting desperate as i NEED the car over the weekend urgently. Pug 106 if it helps. Thanks for any advice

Hey you crazy guys n gals, finished your arguement yet? Well anyway, getting it sorted at local garage, £94 for new drive shaft + fitting + vat included. So pretty good in my opinion. Couldnt have done it myself so this price was far less thatn i was imagining. cheers everyone for the help

Rang round a couple of garages today and apparently they cant just replace the joint, would be the whole drive shaft on the 106. Is that right, or just some money making scam?

Thanks for advise so far, its a Pug 106 (diesel if that makes a difference) Forgot to mention in previous post, ive noticed now when i come to slow down at lights etc and roll at a slow pace, the car makes an annoying ticking sound, like a deep clicking noise. Can only imagine these 2 creakings im getting are related again? And i wouldnt have a clue how to fix this myself, so a garage is the only option Thanks again Sound could be like a popping noise i guess, yeah.

Just had a new osf tyre put on the other day, and they noticed that the 'cv boot' had gone (apparently the seal or something?). Well prior to knowing this, when i turn right hand corners anything over about 20mph the car makes this horrible creaking sound like the chasis' gonna explode or something, well not quite but still. Are these 2 things related, and anyone know how much it will cost to get the 'cv boot' replaced?? cheers

So i replace my brake light bulbs as they both were shot, but still theres no hope. Im guessing there must be internal wiring problems, so its a garage job. Would anyone know what the basic problem would be, and costs of wiring for brake lights? Maybe a long shot but just need a clue, cheers

Its 80% luck on the day i think. We can give you all the advise in the world, but its down to luck on the day with which examiner you get/his mood at the time/his ability at examining/other road users on the day. Just drive like you do with your instructor, you know you can drive safely, so show the examiner that! But yeah basically i think its just luck on the day - Jenson Button could fail tomorrow and hes a damn good driver

that head unit does look beaut actually, may seriously consider it. Just hope it'll fit in my 106 with no problems :D

I'm also looking for a headunit. I've heard good things about mp3 cd's, how many tracks can you fit onto 1 cd? And what's the difference between the mp3 compatible headunits and WMA units? They seem a lot more expensive... cheers for the help and for the topic title, was just what i'm looking for :(
