  1. 4 stroke doesnt really suit trials. 2 strokes rev up very quicly, an can deliver the powr they have faster. 4 strokes are smoother, more ecconominc, and produce alot more power, but they deliver that power over a much broader rev range. they shoud stay with the tryed and tested methods.....
  2. Nice to see there is a good number of riders willing to go. NASS this year is only at Shepton Mallet, 8 - 10 July. So who is up for a cumunal trials area? I think if we meet at the show for around 10am, and whoever gets there 1st can secure a good place in the que, and the rest can join. We can then get a good camp site and spread out a bit, so we all have enough room. Jon, I will be driving, but dont know who is going, if theres a space we can arrange something, ill let you know nearer the time.
  3. I know its a bit early, but its good to get these things sorted. I reckon we should meet somewhere on the way, or at a set time before it opens and set up a trials camp. All those in it last year would agree it was a good laugh. I reckon arrive there for 10am, so you get a high place in the que, and a good choise of campsites. opinions?
  4. I cant really see that hapening. If I remeber correctly, emmissions regulations wont apply to them. Emmissions regs are for road use cars/bikes. Otherwise F1 cars, superbikes ect would be alot slower. I think they are just testing to see what its capable of, not alot by the look of that performance..........

  7. Just watched one of the rounds on euro sport. I think its the 2nd. Adam Raga is on fire this season, only dropping 6 this round. Cabastany was doing ok, coming in 2nd with 15 lost. He has a new ride this season, he is now on a Sherco. Duggie Lampkin isnt doing as good as he should. Hes on a new 4 stroke Honda, and its not doing him any favors. He came 3rd with 17. he gave up a few bad 5's, where the 4 stroke wasnt man enough to cover big gaps. There was a bit of a cock up on section 6, where they made it imposible to ride. You had a tiny run, a bike length, on a slippery slope, to get up an 8/9 foot block. No one could do it. Keep an eye out for the next rounds, they didnt leave any dates for them on TV.
  8. Sounds interesting. Havent heard any of them, may have to find some. Well im off to go see November Coming Fire in Brightin
  9. what sort are you after? Rocks or woodland? If you want rocks, Worthing and Eastbourne have a very good selection.
  10. OK I went to the gym for 2 hours and you guys are still at it. Legends So how many of you have downloaded the single user version to make 1/2 of these then?
  11. sweet, cheers guys, people kept changing me to trials gimp (Y) Trials rocks, you pic shows nothing (Y)
  12. Yea room 4 we have it goign almost 3 times. we are making all letters go in order how good (bored) are we?
  13. Dunno, what we wat? Lets try and do the alphabet (Y)
  14. HAHAHAHA who was on there just now tryin to help me write trials forum? Damn those letter hoarders
  15. Thats a good time waster We should get 11 of us on there at the same time, and we can hold the letters for trialsforum.
  16. you are way off. All anti freeze does it lowers the freezing point of water, and inhibits water from corroding metal as quick. If you want to raise the boiling point of water you have to raise the pressure.
  17. Im sure he wouldnt do a thing like that. Its not as if Pete Wight is running the shop.............. Well it seems there are some very good and valid points. though I am worried about the 6 people on here that are "complete tools and only give the answer they want to hear" worrying.
  18. My fridge im my room is just full of beer. But I dont have one of those mincy fridges, ive got a fulle size one :D I did have a triffle in it, but I got hungry..........
  19. OI this isnt an arguement about who rides where. Stop your damn bitchin. This is an organised ride on a day to commemorate a fallen friend. We are not starting a contest to see who can get the most riders to a place. This day is so a few of us can get together and remeber DJ. if you feel you have to do it in Abingdon, go there. If you saw last years video no one was worried about where they were. we are all just getting together to take a moment out of our lives to remeber a good friend.
  20. That was a worry to me when I made it. I do genuinly think this is a good place to be, and its alot better than a few years back, If I had posted this then, I can garuntee 90% of the posts would be "ye dey r all priks innit" and all that crap that comes with nobs who dont realise there are 26 letters in the alphabet. The whole Seinor member issue that has been raised does have a point. I know they have their duties, and they help keep the crap to a minimum, but as we all seem to be talking about lighteing the load on people, could there not be 2 or 3 people set aside for testing, and 2 or 3 people to sort out the new members validations? This would no way make Tom and Danny loose their authority, as they will ultimatly have the last say, but as you mention, they have lives, they cant monitor on here 24/7. So if tehre was a team for these things, decent New members would be validated quickly, and if for some reason Tom or Danny disagrees with one of these desicions they should still have the power to trun it around, and restrict certain members back until they see fit. On another Forum I visit (Naruto-kun.com) they have the Main owner/ moderators, then each sub-forum has 2 or 3 Moderators that look after it. Any crap that comes up on there is delt with swiflty, and no-one looses their life, as there are more people to share the work. Maybe this is something trials-forum needs to experiment with......
  21. 1st off: I really dont intend on offending anyon here, this is just to see what you lot think. Before you answer, take into consideration all the mods do. Keeping the board free of anoying loosers who just want to start fights, and ask stupid, irrelevent questions. Make sure Trials-forum is a safe friendly environment for all trials riders to use. keep the forum well maintained and up to date. But what do you disagree on, personly I think the whole validation, newbie section limitations are a bit too far. I know a few very good riders who would love to come on here and post, but cant as they cant get validated to use the main forum, and cant be assed to wait around in the newbie section, so they dont boterh coming on here at all. Barry Huskinson is a perfect example of this (if you dont know who he is, where the hell have you been?) Sometimes posts can get deleted, or closed because one of the mods doenst agree with it, or doesnt like the subject. I know the next post to this one will be "if you dont like it go elsewhere" from one of the mods, but this isnt what this is about. Obvioulsy I do enjoy this site, or I would have gone elsewhere years ago. So please, leave you opinions here, and dont go slaging people off for no reason. This isnt an excuse for chumps to complain and abuse the mods...
  22. Yea all the western attempts dont even come close. Bayblade ect, its all aload of crap. Japan all the way :turned: So how many of you downloaded the Narutrix, and what you think?
