Fairly disapointed with my riding this year As for the gears thing, just drop it, UCI have got rid of it already and in my opinion its safer, the amount of times ive ridden a section and the gears have changer halfway through, or a mechs been mashed up. Also all the hassle of scrutineering (bad spelling) at worlds and brits. It just makes life so much easier. If all the riders wanted it gone surely it wouldn't be that hard for the riders to get the organisers to change it if everyone turned up with singlespeed they would have no option! (not saying do it just an idea)

hmm the bt is ok i guess, nice to ride for street etc, but they are fairly heavy also running a 47mm wide rear im can be tricky depending on your crank setup.

yer really good comp again, sections were about perfect for nice riding. was tiered from being up since 3am and then going to work before the comp but its all good practice for world cup in france next week nice to see a few more people there and new riders

The sections were brilliant i thought, only problem was it was like a month or two to late, Them sections would have been excellent to prepare the riders for the worlds, I deffinatly wouldn't moan if all the British were set that hard next year, Some of the Elite/Masters stuff was looking crazy and even longer! Setting the sections this hard can only lead to us getting Better results at the worlds and catching up with them Spaniards! I had a bad day on the riding front and i didn't see that many people ride on the day but of the people I did see ride the person who impressed me most was miss Morgan. Went round the sections at the same time as her, when she got to her mums section her and her dad were looking at the drop at the end of the section, bigger than anything she's done before, Gary wasn't too confident in her trying it I don't think but she got there with 7 seconds left and did it very impressed, lets hope she gives the Abants a run for there title next year.

although i won't be getting one much respect to mick, as wayne said he still turns up and observes/ helps out even though matt doesn't ride any more, lets hope he keeps coming as he is a top observer if only we had more "full time" decent observers the sport would be better. I rememeber at last seasons fun trial I think when it had been snowing mick still turned up then to observe and also when Englands 1st world cup game was on, would have been so much easier for him not to turn up but he did. Top bloke

hahaha me and Ali C of course, If i gave you the other pictures it wouldn't be a secret!! ill try and do them tomorrow before i go riding, been out everyday and too tiered when i come in to do them. Even got one of the shirts!

Secret Mission!!! Was only one night though, other nights i stayed at steves house with ali c and tom. that was good fro me as well Will get them photos up when my computer works

hmm was an awesome 2 weeks really, comps were good although i was about to collapse in Singapore after the 1st lap i think. the first week in Singapore felt more like a holiday to me, so was good to get to Japan and do some riding everyday, although Singapore was great as well. Was good getting to know people better as well, some people really supprise you when you get to know them, such as Fred S, never really spoken to him that much at trials before to be honest but is a funny guy. Can't wait for next year now. Will post some pictures up later, too tiered to sort everything out at the moment. Patt Donovan
