  1. He went back to his old Pure frame.
  2. The red one looks completely ruined! Shows how good the rims are! I still have one on the front of my bike, been fine! Wouldn't want one of the back though...
  3. I remember your Pure, didn't wanna get rid did you!? My mate Rich seems to have the same obsession with them as you do, he had Porters old one for ages, then got rid (I think?) now he's building one up again!
  4. Been listening to The Used a lot recently. Only had 2 of their albums before, now I have all of them.
  5. Those Diamondbacks cracked quite easily didn't they? I'd rather have that T-Rex too, looks well nice in white!
  6. If it's never been serviced before then that's why it skips. They come with grase in them to bed them in, once that's done, you need to service it. Take the lockring off, I think it's reverse thread on Tensiles? Then once that's off, take out the bearings, and give them a clean with a bit of kitchen roll. Grab a can of GT85, and spray it all inside the freewheel, but not on the bearings! Once it's all soaked, get the cloth and give it all a good wipe clean. Put all the bearings back in, and drip some wet lubricant in there, Finish Line oil is a good'un, as is the Halfords Bikehut one. Get some of that inside to keep it all lubricated, and you'll be good to go. You don't want to use grase as it's too thick and will cause it to skip again.
  7. They're not really the best of freewheels really, and seeing as it's welded, you can't really service them! Not sure what to suggest really, other than if it gets really bad, get a Tensile.
  8. The headset, crankset, and backwheel won't fit. Unless you have a 19" rear wheel? I'm sure I had issues with my old 24t sprocket not fitting the Zona Zip frame properly, maybe it was because the chain ran so high up compared to an 18:12 set up? Don't remember now.. The headset's in the T-Birds and internal, and the Zonas are external, so that'd need to be replaces. Zonas take a 19" rear wheel, not a 20" one like the T-Birds have, so you'd need a new wheel too. They are brilliant frames though, I've had a go on a Zoo before, and I much prefered my Zona to it, felt easier on the backwheel. They're a little on the heavy side though, but I can't really feel it when I ride mine!
  9. That was mental! Too big and too smooth now! I loved the gap down to the tree too! The mellow music seemed to make me concentrate on the riding more, instead of having all the heavy metal screamy shouty all in my face... Can't believe they're unwanted clips too!
  10. We're always gentle. What vicious rumers have you heard!?
  11. Can't anyone take a 'normal' side on bike picture anymore? Looks nice though, although I really don't like the colour of that ethirteen!
  12. Picture on the home page: Kinda looks like Joe Maher!
  13. I think I win for only having 3 frames in 5 years!
  14. Is that a sly way of calling me a moron?
  15. Do the hokey cokey and you tur..... :$
  16. If you're lucky enough to be able to chose, go right. Then if you ever run discs, you'll never hit them on sidehops! Although then you'd just mash whatever chain tension device you run... Hmm..you can't win really. I'm right handed, left foot forward, kick a ball with my right, etc. I don't think it matters if you're left handed or not, it's all down to what feels best.
  17. Bill was 12 when we rode with him in Newquay in 07.
  18. He looks taller now! Video was pretty insane, too many gaps though...
  19. I love the cheesey music in all of his videos!
