Hi I have just snapped my first chain and its worried me a little because I only did something small and would hate to think what would happen if I went big and it happened cause I really hurt myself doing somthing small. FIrstly what chains do you use? How many times has it snapped? and do you use a split link or just link the chain up? I was using a KMC and it has been fine for like 10 months. And i was using a split link. Are there any other chain out there better than a KMC and doe sit matter what split link you use like are there any CNC industrial fancy colour ones that are better and stronger? All above is just to grasp what I like to see in the replies but any other extra info would be great. Cheers Josh

Hi all I was just wondering How much further will progression go without certain things been changed. Fo example the rear mounts on bikes was "ok" in the day but for the extra slamming the bikes get nowadays how long until they update them? I personally think this rear mount idea needs to be looked at carefully because nearlly everyone has threaded a rear mount they are just not strong enough. All that pressure on four bolts and mounts isnt strong enough. I know everyone helicoils and it does work but surely this shudnt have to be done on a brand new frame ! I think the design shoud be a bolt and nut straight through the frame at the back. Because the old magura mounts simply are not putting up the abuse of 2005-2006. Ohh and for those who keep saying helicoiling is stronger than normal threads its NOT because the helicoil is still resting inbetween and on the new threads so No its not stronger by any means. Hi all, I have recently got a Try all BB and tried fitting it today. When i did it went in flush then near the end i tightened up the drive side and then tried the nondrive side and when it got tight it just made a snap noise. So I took it out too see and couldnt figure out why ? Now when I put it in the left side wont tighten ?? The length of the BB is 122.5 for a T-pro and im NOT running front freewheel. SO is this the right size? and what could be the problem. Btw the threads are super clean and I did use grease to fit the BB. Any Help appreciated. Cheers Josh

I dont think peeps want the big forearms just the power that comes with having big forearms Because it will make you a more powerfull rider And they build up tendons and shoulder aswell as all the rest of the arm ! Still highly recommend one . Josh..

Yer it is that car and what a mental one of that ! The biggest problem was torque, the chassis alone is mega expensive another problem was tyres I mean if you make a car like that you need tyres a bit beta than try-alls :huh: Did anyone see the previous top gear with the car racing the climber. I love it how the guy who was leading got all the honour when his mate must have been just as fast for them to be lead climbing but no support for him >_< Top show love it !

Yet again the lovely peopleof the forum give helpful advice! I had this problem for the week or so I had the python :huh: I triedsnail cams and some giro ones but neither fittet. The standard T-pro (onza) chain tugs are too big aswell. So if you wanted do what I did and cut them down. Get a hack saw and cut straight across the top or bottom then they fit fine! ......... but look cheap and nasty >_< Josh..

I retapped mine then not shortly after it went again so I changed the levers over :D Just hope it doesnt happen again because you cannot buy the TPA's seperatley the gays at magura want you to buy a whole new lever for £25 :turned: Im going to investigate the metal ones further !
