I agree with you that the Sky is for serious comp riders only, I have ridden the Hydroxx for over a year now with no problems at all IMO: a great allrounder bike that can take a bit of abuse but also light enough to be a great comp bike aswell. Also you have a choice of wheelbase with the hydroxx Sam.

You say good spots, as in natural rocks, street riding? Interested Sam.

Most deffo the cold damp thing, My brakes are loads better in the warm weather, I have been keeping my bike tucked up in the warm recently Sam.

Brilliant idea I Have been reading posts about me in different countries Sam.

Take pads out, find a large flat stone or paving slab & rub gently in small circles untill you get a nice even lighter grey colour than you started with. Sometimes the pads seem to glaze over without bedding in properly. Then clean rotor with cellulose thinners & clean kitchen towel thouroghly! In my experience there is no alternative to thinners as it evaporates & leaves no residue. Job done Sam.
