Harro! Im after some new tunesss! Im getting sick of my jungle, and sub/log/high/london elek/danny etc etc, I've recently got into Mt Eden and I'd love some more stuff like what hes pumping out, can we leave the heavy dubstep out of suggestions as I'm really not keen! Just to give an idea of the stuff I'm really liking at the minute: Any and all suggestions will be listened to! Thank you very much for all your help! Will. P.S. I know theirs a fair few base heads on here so I figured it would be nice to have a single place to chuck all of our genre love into! If you feel this should go in a music thread or BOTI then please do go ahead and ignore this, but I'd still like some new tunes!
  7. This pretty much, the stuff is just going crazy on the dubstep scene atm. I dont mind doing it, cheap and cheerful...
  8. I spent half of last season in Canada where it gets down to -40 without wind chill and skiied in those conditions numerous times. You dont need a decent jacket (it just helps alot), you need to be smart and wear layers. Hes going for one week only ffs, a complete waste of 200 on a jacket that in all likely he wont need again, but saying that if he wanted to get one he could go out in at the same time (plent of swish bonfire and burton ones, just off the top of my head) then it might be worth it. But not for only one week.
  9. You wont need a decent jacket in the alps, it wont be cold enough, if you can deal with getting snow up your back dont bother with a snow skirt. The gloves wont matter as its a one off, pretty much unless you spend over 50 there gona get shafted in a week anyway as thats what happens with snow boarding. Ski pants you will want water proof ones as it will be a pain in the arse and cold during the day when your sitting on your arse/kness the whole time. Go to Tk-Maxx, spend less on the coat and gloves, spend abit more on the ski pants. By abit more, I mean just get waterproof ones. Decent pair for 30, 40 quid easy. Job done.
  10. Just stick it under a tap, wash it out and wack it back on. I always do it
  11. One of the all greatest buildings in Brum recently got cracked and weve been looking at it from the front for years. The guy that cracked is one of my very good mates, and just purely worked up the balls to walk past the 2 cctv cameras protecting it and found an open window to get in. Just goes to prove that you can find absolute mints if your willing to take a risk. I hope to god its still open when I get home.
  12. Pretty much the last 2 posts make me think what I've done in Canada is f**k all. I'll be saving hard this next year and will be heading for the Gold Coast asap. Many a friends place to stay there and I pretty much already have a friendship group up and running as there all pretty much home now. All I have to do then is convince a few of them to get a van with me and drive the whole coast in 3 months. Bring it on.
  13. Would be a shame if you didnt get it all up, just keep it low (lower) key I guess?! You still kicking around with Turk and the likes or you going with Dankst and that lot these days? He still in Paris saying that? I have to come back in like 6 or 7 weeks sadly due to my visa running out. Really really annoyed at the fact. Dont want to go home at all really
  14. Ive got some shots to show you of a certain bridge in Vancouver. Ha I know what you mean though, I really dont want to leave. If I was living in Vancouver I'd be smashing up all there is to do there, so so so many docks, factorys to do its mental, hopefully get a day or three over there again before I leave to properly do it. Wish I could go to Seattle aswell, alot to do there in the form of Docks. Snap where the hell have you been of late, did you go underground of have you just taken off everything you were doing? Should I pm?
  15. No one will generally give out access details unless they know you/have seen quite a few decent reports from you as numerous places have been locked up recently due to people not giving a shit. I used to be really active when I was in the UK, am going to be getting back into it when I get home. Cant really afford to travel anywhere in Canada to see places as theres loads of stuff to do, but not really in Alberta.
  16. Why the hell do people want to hear from me? And for the guy that asked about applying for a Canadaian visa, read what Ive already put... GOOGLE BUNAC AND CLICK ON THERE WORKING HOLIDAY IN CANADA LINK. Its the only way to get one independently (sp). Pretty much all the info from Oz seems correct, i'll even put up the link to the direct information and website so you can read through it. If you have any other questions, ring there embassy I guess! Just some more storys from me! Started off the week with finding an extra $200 in my account so went out on locals night in Banff and got loose as a goose, the clubs are complete toss here but my god when your drunk does dancing to Britney Spears make for a fun time. Easiest place to pick up Ive ever been aswell pretty much, and due to the fact that pretty much all of them are snowboarders/skiiers/generally cool its pretty much a game of spot the ugly chick, which is a dam rare game for where Im from! Monday was a pretty hectic recovery as i had to work at 6.30am but whatever, she was worth it. Headed to Vancouver on the Tuesday night, luckily slept the whole way so a 12 hour bus ride turned into a 30 minute bus ride, pretty much the best thing ever. From there I made my way to my friends place just outside of the centre and went to a payphone to call her (long distance charges apply in Canada and on many phones you cant actually call long distance unless you have it enables when you buy it), only to realise that its going straight to answer phone. f**k, this isnt like Skye, I reckon shes either lost her phone or the battery is dead, so I leave an answer phone message calling her a fanny and letting her know how much of one. I realise as I hang up, that this is f**king useless in the scheme of things so I call her back and say that I'm sitting in the Starbucks across the road from the Sky Train station. One cup of a bloody awesome Mocha later I see a car rolling around the corner that I reckon is for sure her car, I pick all my shit and run for the door, she hops out of the car in the middle of the road and jumps out screaming, pretty excited then haha. After the usual greetings and hugging I figure out that actually she didnt get my message at all, she just showed up on a pure chance because she had a rough time that I was going to show and reckoned if she chilled in Starbucks watching the exit she would be able to catch me, ha with that sort of luck, these next 4 days are going to be hectic. Pretty much the next 4 days are one big blur of chilling with old friends on the water front, staring out over into the ocean looking at the cloud streaked mountains and getting crunk at night and heading out into lthe clubs(which in Van are awesome!) partying with the new, the old and the homeless (if you go to Vancouver you will understand this straight away). What Im pretty much trying to tell you, is that on these "Working Holidays" you meet lifelong friends, make a gazillion new buddies and get to party with the best of them. Vancouver was the best 4 days I've had in a while and even though the city is awesome its being in that place with awesome people that makes it.I havnt even told you about the drive back yet! f**k driving through the rockies, in a blizzard, on summer tyres in a people carrier, worst experience ever. I guess this is my point; everything I've done here pretty much are experiences of a life time. Shut up about talking about it, just get on the website and get it organised, dosnt matter where. Just do it. I will give you the links for Canada and Oz aswell, your all stupid or lazy bastards for not being able to find these, took me 1 minute for both. Canada: http://www.bunac.org/UK/workcanada/ Oz: http://www.immi.gov.au/visawizard/#vw=%23a_results If you want any more info about Canada just ask, but seriously read through that. If you want me to finish that story (drunken ramblings, $15 all you can eat sushi, $3 all you can eat breakfast, and a whole load of idiocy), let me know! Will.
  17. It isnt that hard... Be in the same job that benefits there economey for 3 months... http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/working-ho...lity-second.htm
  18. Go ahead and message me with any sorts of questions mate, I'll post some sites when I can think of them haha, the main one to look at for Canada atleast is Bunac, and you should be able to follow links on there to most things. I did just show up and get a job and a place to stay yeah, you need money to give yourself breathing room if you cant get a job straight away, but its super easy to find a job out here and craigslist (google it) makes getting a place to stay really really really easy. You shouldnt be without a place and job for more than 2 weeks max in the citys... Id just get on a plane to Vancouver in the summer, show up at the Samesun Hostel on Granville Street and make friends that way, party with them, maybe even get a place to stay with someone looking to work there, imo by far the best way to do it. Shaun you would need to look at the Canadian High Commisions website and I would really recomend getting a sponsor before you even try it. Will make things alot alot easier if your going for a proper Visa.
  19. Been living and working in Canada now for 9 months, and am going to be staying for the full year. Awesome place to visit, amazingly helpful, friendly people and as a nation there pretty dam casual about everything, its awesome. Pretty easy to get into for a year, go to a company called Bunac, who you have to go through as the Canadian High Commision dont deal with us on there own, and you pay them to set you up with a visa. All super easy as long as you dont have anything on your record and dont feck around during the Visa application. Costs a fair bit compared to other countries though. Whoever made the comment about Oz, its bollocks, you can go for 2 years and keep renewing the Visa until the age of 31, at which point you either apply for a perm resident visa (helps alot if you have a sponsor) or you go home. I'll find the links if I have too, but just Google smartly and follow the links for the Aussie home office about working holiday visas. It costs alot less than going to Canada aswell. For picking which country to go too, I'd do alot of homework first and decide upon what you reckon suits you the best, and what your wanting to do/work as. I chose Canada due to being a crazy keen skiier and generally looking for a more relaxed way of life, that didnt involve sitting on a beach all day. If your looking for the beach, sun, girls and a mad party life, maybe the Gold Coast in Australia (dosnt have to be here just using an easy example, and its where Im going) is for you, its infamous throughout Oz as party central and the coldest it gets is about 10 degrees in the dead of winter, this is true for pretty much all of the East coast though, so anywhere from Sydney all the way up to Caines may be for you. Get on travel websites, phone up travel companies (though if you can help it dont go with them, I say this because quite frankly it may be easier, but I just fount it alot more rewarding to go it alone) and ask, you find most the people that work for them were/are really really keen travellers and will tell you everything you need too know. If your not that keen on travelling alone and dont talk to strangers comfortably I would maybe go with a travel group to get there initially as they really do help with setting up, getting your documents sorted so you can work, and then give you a really easy way to make friends straight off the bat in the area you are. For example in Oz I know bunac have group flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Perth Canberra and Brissy, they then proceed to chuck all of the people you took the flight with into the same hostel and into the same orientation meetings, so that you can socialise and make friends with people in excatley the same situation as you... Like I say, its all just your personal preference. I cannot recomend doing this enough, my last year has been by the best of my short little life, I've made some of the best and lifelong friends, travelled to some of the most beautifal areas, and witnessed some of the most amazing events that Canada has to offer. I've also learnt one hell of alot about myself, matured a shit load more, and generally wised up to alot of things in life that I really didnt think my self shielded from. Jesus what a wall of text. Any more questions feel free to ask, if you want links or whatever let me know. Hope this helps in some way. Will.
  20. Ha didnt realise it was chase and status, im a twat! Nice one simps.
  21. Good beat that, but alas its not the one! If I remeber correct it was a much more "mc" style of singing, big punchy lyrics to go with the big heavy beat. Sound like such a twat trying to explain myself here, sorry I cant be of anymore help, bloody useless when it comes to describing music!
  22. Dosnt ring any bells, but I have no idea who its by in the first place so like that would make a difference...
