Nice bike Andy. Exotic is expensive. Even I am still saving up for a Gazza for myself... I will go for 1010, 72, 362, +45. The only thing I don't like is that people take photos of Ti bikes inside....any Ti frame looks much better on the open air... Check these for example: PS: If you look at this bike's niple cap you're gonna notice it's silver. The owner says it has been stolen from a Bentley Flying Spur. Russia is a dodgy place.

BikeTrialUK, yeah, I met George at the 2005 worlds in Addingham. A man in a blue T-shirt came up to me and began speaking Russian Haha...I thought I was the only one there who could do that You see people! George went to the Ukraine and found his happiness there! Is George coming? 2Luke and Andy: guys, if you arrive on 20th of April - then you will be picked up at the airport and the guys will take you to the Express. I will pick you up there. Make sure you arrive on 20th and leave on 24th.

We are glad to welcome you to the EuroCup 2006 comps in the Ukraine! The competition lasts one weekend: April 22-23rd Though most of the riders arrive in advance. You will have an opportunity to compete with the riders from Russia, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The competition will be held at Hortitsa Island, Zaporozhie town Ukraine is visa-free for the UK riders. The BIU rules will be observed at this competition. But we let more freedom: 26” are allowed to have a single-speed drive. We are making this competition in order to let the European riders to compete in a more relaxed atmosphere and in different nature conditions. You will find a great lot of various stones on the island which are fun to ride. Apart from the comps there is going to be entertainment involved: National Ukrainian Kazak horse show (the jockeys in national costumes will show their skills on the horses). + Sashlyk (aka national kebab) + Beach Open Air party + Girls (at preorder) I have checked the British Airways website. The flight to Kiev and back from Heathrow airport will cost you 224 pounds. Food and accomodation is very cheap. You will not spend more than 20 quid on food per day. Hotels have very funny rates there: 1-10 quid a night. So the most expensive thing is the flight. If you are fed up with West European views and want to switch to something different - come there. This will be on the most exciting comps and trips in your very life. All the Britons will be shown around and accompanied by Gazza (me . This is the real fun. If you feel interested and want to participate or anything else please do not hesitate and PM me or email me (gazza at gazza.ru) Welcome to the Ukraine!

Haha! almost everything i read here was really funny to me. Why? Because people are speaking about lifetime warranty on the Titerras. Which does not exist. People are speaking about Ti in trials without knowing any technical and physical characteristics of the material. But this all does not matter. Becuase there right now 2 broken Titerras at our factory. They have been repaired many times before and they are broken again. They are waiting to get welded. Nothing about warranty. The guys were riding trials. The got snapped headtubes, seatstays (both) and magura mounts. They are too flexible to ride properly. There are no triangular or box constructions on the stays and you can flex the frame easily with your fingers. The only thing me and our engineer liked about them was the welds. They are smooth. The rest is crap.

I would like to come there. Can I Luke? I will be supplying the event with russian vodka.

So he still hasn't got his license. It nowhere says, he's got it back. Though he is expecting to get it back.

Oi Tim Thank you for the vid. I really miss London even more now. All these riding spots, the streets, the cars, the buildings... Chai is doing great! Respect! I hope I will see you this summer... From snowy Russia with love...

That's it Craig. I can't tell you the whole story about Batch here in public. The thing is that the high price they ask is based on nothing. We now make Tritons at two same factories in Russia where Batch used to (he is no longer in producing trials stuff). The materials are the same, the quality is the same (it's even higher, because I control the whole production process by visiting factory 3-4 times a week and spending there hours on end)...but our retail price is lower. Why? Because we don't want to make easy money on our fellow trials riders! We set the price that reflects the work that have been done. Not more than that. P.S.: I don't really care if someone classifies this post as an advertisment. I just wanted to let people know the truth about Ti frames. Doesn't matter what brand it is.
-
I am sorry, but it's just funny the way you compare Taiwanese Titanium for civil use with the Russian aerospace OT-4 Ti without knowing any factual physical specifications. The difference in price comes from the country where the product is made and from the money people want to make. We can do Ti frames twice as cheap. But the welds and the tubing will be of low quality and the frames will be easy to snap. I don't want that. I make proper stuff for proper experienced riders. No alternatives here.

I asked Oxana and Nastya for a permission to post these pics. So they are okay with that

Hello He-he...it's all about Russia... I am not an experienced photographer at all...we were just having fun in the shower room during the celebration of New Year...the camera is also the size of a credit card Anyway...i have Oxana with an Eno freewheel on her PS: We are not producing ENO's with Luke..hehe

Erm...I will discuss it with the manufacturer on Friday and will give you the approx. price. Sorry mate...it hasn't been released yet, so I can't say any proper numbers...I will inquire. Thank you

Triton Bicycle Co can make a Ti one for you. When do you want it? We don't have them in stock yet, but we plan to manufacture them. You can hurry us up
-
That's right Chris. Any geometry you wish. We can also play with plates, disk brake mounts, magura/Vee mounts, top-tube curving, adding saddle compatibility, etc. We can even make a 3 meter long limo bike. Not sure you will be able to hop on it though  + Forks are coming soon. They will be matching the frames in colour and will be light and strong. We plan to make 20", 24" and 26" forks. Disk or non-disk.

As far as I have noticed, many participants of this discussion know little about characteristics of Titanium used in our frames. First of all, it is hard to scratch. A lot harder than alu. That's why your frame looks mint after a year of hard riding. I have a Ti frame here which is almost 5 years old now and it looks clean and sexy, though we went through some tough riding with it  Ti frame is more difficult to bend than an alu one. I could easily compare that when I had my Zoo bike. It would take me ages side hoping on my chainstay trying to make the same dents on my Ti frame as I had on Zoo. Still we are putting plates on the frame and chainstays that will make sure you get rid of any possible dents. Yes. You can dent and kill any frame on the market. But Ti will last clean a lot longer. You make an unsuccessful gap, hit you down tube...getting ready to see a deep dent in your frame...but there is nothing...or just a little scratch.. This stiffness weights so little. But it is pretty difficult to manufacture. You have got to have an argon gas atmosphere to be able to weld Ti. The gas is blown directly to the welding spot with a high pressure. Ti is hard to curve when you prepare the tubing. It really takes time. It is EXTREMELY difficult to CNC. The whole work costs a lot of money. It takes a few days. Than there comes shipping and customs. So retail price is pretty high. But you get a custom luxury hand-made frame with your measures and ideas in it. We are not making mass production stuff. We are making products that you will be proud to own. Just to let you know. 20" and 24" are coming soon. You will be amazed.

Ok, got it. I will make these zones extra strong. Btw, http://www.tritonbicycleco.com is now ON! Still, there are things to improve. From Russia with love (Y)
-
No problem, if the client is going to do grinds on the bike, then we will weld on plates along the chainstays to protect the main tubing from wearing off. And if the Ashtons cracked. Tell me where they did crack. We will make the area extra stiffer.
-
We were thinking on manufacturing a 24" street/trials frame with a saddle-compatible seat tube. Any thoughts? Personally, I would be happy to own such a bike apart from my mod. Just for non-trials-specific rides. The nowadays' 24 inchers are pretty heavy. And we can make a superlight bike. The frame would weigh approx 1500 gr still being a very stiff one.
-
My Oxana is riding an old-school Ti mod. She can trackstand, endo, can ride through some street obstacles and learns to back hop (Y)
-
Hello comradz! We are now working on the mod design. Still, you are free to order your own design (frame length, angles, chainstays) and you can have your name (or whatever) on the frame printed using titanium dust finish technology. The Deema weights 1656 gr. The modbike will be even lighter. I am sure, you will be amazed when you see our forthcoming products. We have been into trials for many years. Now we are manufacturing the products that we used to dream about. We could not get them earlier as nobody produced them. Here are a few spy pics of the Deema...

I actually saw those monty rear disk hubs at the Worlds first round...the Monty guys had it for sale at smth like 70 quid...
-
Thanks for the comments The rear disc work sooo great....I have tried HS33 after a couple of rides on the disc....the rim brakes are so crap...they are like Start<->Stop....they squeek, the are sensitive to your rims....when it rains, they don't work properly... Rear Marta's with Monty pads are the best brakes I ever had, though I am really heavy. I dunno about the Stock bikes, but with the modified bikes they work great!

Oh don't worry mate. You just need some good practice with russian birds :ermm: Btw, if you have Skype, we can speak russian sometimes. That's what we do with Luke. He now knows loads of russian swear wordz :( And I don't know English that good...I used to come to London say 4 times, but my writing is better than my speaking...Luke is always getting at my pronounciation B) mtbsteveo, these are Magura Marta's with Monty brake pads on back...that thing really works great
