  1. Do they tend to come loose after a few months like the standard ones do?
  2. A bit offtop Mod tyres + saddle

    V!z Rotor

These rotors are called Ashima in Russia and the price is 10 quid. They work good though!
  4. Oh man That was my dream back in the days. I saw Martyn riding it at the MBUK show in Poole in say...2001 it was. There were one or two of them in Russia and the build-ups were so stylish and oldschool: also the mavics, hope bulbs, blue maguras, roox or thompson stem and selle italia saddle. MMMMM I still remember the cannondale team banner at the local cannondale vendor in Moscow. There was Martyn and his bike there...... The frame was awesome. Nice colour and smooth welds. Do we get that nowadays? Modern frames don't look as good now I loved this bike so much that i even got an XC Cannondale So the marketing strategy worked for cannondale. Martyn did good promotion to the brand. Congrats!
  5. It looks good with that mad mixture. Should of called it a Rainbow
  6. You said you wouldn't post it on TF till it's done! haha Inur, the bike is really good. It was the longest frame delivery trip in my life - 1000 miles by car. Thank a lot for a warm welcome! Your dad is a great man! I officially love Poland now The frame was around 1730 gr just after being welded. Enjoy your riding, mate!
  7. I had my trials bike stolen near Leyton ages ago. Don't like this are since then It wasn't me then
  8. I wanna visit the town. I think I can find a VW Golf II GTI there in mint condition as everybody seems to live 10 years earlier there.
  9. F*ck me, I want one. Currently ride and enjoy Cannondale F600 for XC. But this is the legend. Always loved their BadBoys. And look at the chainline. Apart from the technical issues, there it is at least stylish having the rigid forks like that.
  10. I used to have those for a while. And they are total crap. Later I got your #1. You call them Accent SL. In the Russian bikeshops they are sold as Ashima. Togethger with Koolstop pads they work great on my martas. It's just such a massive difference I got from the braking.. But surely, the next step is Hope Mono Trial 2007.
  11. FattyR's, blue Pashley, rear mech. Where did you get the time machine?
  12. Mais avec les peggies je crois, ton velo est plus lourd The frame weight was something around 3.4 lb
  13. Yes! Good one. love the color scheme of the whole bike. Remove the stickers!!

    Good Luck!

Good luck Chris! No worries about quiting. You will invest in the sport later with your kids
  15. Oh shit, Ian. Sorry to hear... Any news?
  16. Right then.. I watched the video today on a big screen. I went for a ride after it...i think for the third ride in this summer. The vid inspired me loads. Apart from that, I would like to say thanks to all you guys who made the vid, who rode the bikes and organised the whole event. That's the way our trials community should show their respect to people like DJ and his family. That's the proper way of doing it. I was glad to see in this vid the people I know in real life. Good riding, guys! Thanks a lot again Cheers Dmitry, Russia
  17. The inventor's last name made me sick...
  18. Serious case in the UK. 20 quid bribe in Russia. It's become a rule for me now. Never let anyone deal with your papers. If you do, then check everything. Hope you will be all right mate. My friend lost his passport once in Moscow and declared it as lost at a police station. Later he found out that someone had registered a few fraud companies using his docs...dodgy

Welcome! It is so interesting just living here One never gets bored It's all different here..
  20. There are up to 10 people killed in car accidents every day just in Moscow. So there is, unfortunately, loads of statistic data (that we may share with any country). And cops can and they DO calculate the speed of hitting. They take into consideration CCTV cameras, length of the braking trace and weight of the car, how heavy the wounds are. That's enough for telling almost exact speed. They have to do it because if a person was crossing the road at an illegal place and the guy was not speeding - then it is the dead person's fault. If the guy was speeding, then he had less opportunity to stop then it is his fault and he goes to prison.

Went to an abandoned air missile station one day in autumn...100 mile drive from Moscow..
  22. Yeah...we do export lots of oil and gas. But why the quality of petrol is that shit?
  23. wow tomturd! I so much love the idea of the Mongol Rally! The same thing...I was just driving my car when I saw 3 funny cars with the UK number plates and stickers all round. I started shouting: "Hello UK! How are you!!" and stuff like that I was really happy to meet english people in my area They stopped, introduced to each other. They needed a hotel...so I told them to follow me...showed them the cheapest proper hotel in the town (the rest are tooo expensive). They stayed in Moscow for a few days. We had a few drinks and went clubbing They were really nice. There were extra 2 girls in one of the cars...The girls apeared to have broken their car and needed to sort it out. So we drove 250 miles in the middle of nowhere to find out that the car wouldn't be able to go, because the engine had a crack...oil was dripping out of it. I helped them to sort this out...which was a bit illegal but worked The team was called The Specials...pink Suzuki 4x4..Maybe you met them... Anyways...if you have any friends, anyone who is taking part in the rally this year - you can give them my cell: +79859220152. If they have ANY problems in Russia they may feel free to call me 24/7. I can sort out anything as long as I speak Russian and have bribing skills I tried contacting the organizers, but no reply Btw, have you written a report or anything after the rally? It would be interesting to read. And yes..did you manage to reach Ulan-Baator?
  24. Oh...Thank you for the support, guys! That's so nice of you! 2 Inur: Triton brand name is standard. You are free to put any other things on the frame (logo, nickname, almost whatever). Those things are not sprayed but "polished" on a frame or stickered. 2 Matt_Tupman: Yup, I am still not into tents, hehe. And guys, yup, Triton can be of any geo you want. I have already done some crazy things...like 1060mm WB mod...or +70mm BB stock...etc
