    Nightride...

It doesn't sound like Bjorks voice, its got a slight electronic feel like a lot of her music, but the voice doesn't sound like hers at all ,its not got that Icelandic twist to it. Cheers anyway!!

    Nightride...

Its a great vid, you've got a nice smooth style, i liked the choice of music (who was it by), it made a refreshing change from the usual emo, or metal shit, the ending wasa little abrupt though. Cool vid!!!
  3. As long as thye cover the bike whilst it is out of the house also then there as good as anyone to go with. Im pretty sure if you want to insure it for over £1000 then you'll have to get it added and pay a little extra. i used ot have mine insured with more than, they're good but very expensive, but they only charge so much for house insurance due to me having a lot of musicial equipment, if the main big money items were just bikes then they should be pretty reasonable! Norwhich Union also have a fairlly good policy on insuring the bike soutside the home. Give a load of companies a call and tell theme xactly what YOU need them to do and see if there willing to oblidge!
  4. The first clip in black and white, thats Nottingham right? Where about is it, in relation to the market square or the train station, is it somewhere around the city centre?
  5. You can get your bike(s) insured seperately on your home insurance. ive got my trials bike insured for £1500, and thats out of the house, so if its stolen when im out on it, its covered, i dont have to worry about lying that it was taken from my house. Also you can add multiple bikes to this policy, i have a street/dirt bike that i built for my girlfriend and thats insured in the same way but for a slightly lesser amount. Also, im planning on getting a Kona Coiler this year, and if i do (fingers crossed) i can just add that to the insurance for its cost, you pay an extra amount per year, but its per bike... I'd rather pay an extra £20,£50 or whatever it is a year to know that im my bikes nicked its no worries. Having said that i stil would never ever leave it anywhere even if it was locked up.
  6. I think a 3 year old levelboss wont have a K type mech hanger. Despite this, the one you need can still be bought from TartyBikes...http://82.110.105.16/tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=73 i think thats the one your after!
  7. I have a set of 2 month old barely used Koxx Forxx with 4 bolt mounts. They're great forks, im only getting rid of them to buy a set of disc brake forks. £65 for them if you fancy. Top of the line forks, and they ride great! let me know.
  8. Cheers, thanks for answering my quiery, i just rang you guys with the problem. I asked cleanbikes.co.uk if they could swap the forks as the mounts on mine are wonky, but they rang koxx, and i got a big fat 'non' from them. So i'll be buying some replacement forks and disc from you guys in the next few days. Just to clarify, with the try all brake, do you get the try-all rotor as standard? I mean if im going to have to blow money on identical forks, whats an extra few quid for a bit of a red brake!!? Also to clarify, the try all brake from you guys was it £165 or £175. Thanks for all the help!
  9. I'm not too bothered whether it looks better, i want it to improve the set up of my bike, to feel confident in actually using my front brake, to be able to go down a hill without jumping off to save my pads, which once died in under 10 seconds. I may be able to exchange the forks as ive spoken to Koxx as the mounts seem off, the mounts seem almost welded for a 24'' wheel. Does anyone know much about the Hope Try all front brake, the guy at cleannbikes was unsure of what caliper number it was and what disk size would be needed with koxx forks. He said i'd need a 160 disk, but shouldnt it be 190? He also wasn't sure if the brake ws any different to the mono/trial, is it just a pimped version of the brake? Cheers.
  10. I'm in a similar predicament, and am really unsure what to do. Stupidly when i bought my koxx frame kit a few months ago i picked the 4 bolt mount forks rather than disc, so i have a disc hub, but no mounts. I don't like my magura on the front, yesterday when i was riding it was slipping all the time, and the pads just munch away, and i cant even get them all that close to the rim as the forks are pretty wide. I do really want a disc and could just about justify buying one and losing the magura, but new forks would be needed. I like my koxx forks but thats like £120 or something for some new ones, add that to the disk and its getting costly. Really not sure what to do....................
  11. Where do you guys ride in Nottingham? I live there at the moment near the city centre and i can't think of many great places to ride, but i probably haven't explored enough!!! Where do you suggest is good? If you're thinking of riding the market square then im afraid its closed at the moment, won't be open for quite a while yet either!!
  12. I play guitar, but ive had some trouble here and there. Ive moved to Nottingham and one Saturday early afternoon i was having a jam with some friends, and some stones were launched at my window, i turned all the amps off, the stones kept coming, so i opened the curtain and my neigbour is standing there shouting ''turn that b*****d thing off'', i said that i had, then he said if i dont shut up he'll throw a brick through my window, i found it ironic as hes a window cleaner, why would he destroy his trade? I wrote an apologised saying i thought Saturday afternoon would be an ok time to play as i dont play early in the morning or late at night. He came round the next day and said thanks, but hes a common, lower class moron so i dont think i'd be so polite if he got angry again.
  13. Cheers, thanks alot for the heads up. I've just ordered a couple of sets. I've only got a light grind on the back, so i may well try some on the back to. I look forward to seeing/trying the new ones. Cheers again.
  14. Thanks a lot, i was thinking along the heatsink lines, as the extra pad length would be nice as im using Koxx Forxx, and with the Mavic rim, its just a couple of mm's wider than i'd like, so with the heatsinks it should sort that out. By the way, are you using the new 2005 levelboss with the sideways 'V' shaped seatube? Cheers again.
  15. I'm not to sure what would be an ideally suited pad to run on a front magura, with my Ex721 CD. I unfortunately had to use a rimjam blue (as it was all i had), and its being destroyed pretty quickly. I want something of a reltively hard compound, as my front brake is my stopping brake for when i'm out and about on the bike. Would the heatsink pads that are available on their site at the moment be a good choice, i've never been able to try these pads, are the Koxx Bloxx Browns harder than these? Any useful suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers
