  1. Hi guys, first post so sorry if it's in the wrong place etc, Anyways, been out learning trials and can do a pretty decent trackstand and am trying to get some decent pivots down. When poping my front wheel around I find in much easier without the (rear) brake on, I kinda seem to be using a little pedal stroke too. Now all the stuff I read says keep back brake on - for obvious reasons - but is it ok to learn the way I am, until I get better and can lock the rear brake, or is this learning poor form and it will be harder to "unlearn" it later on? Also I guess this goes without saying but I should be learning clockwise and anti-clockwise? I just find it much easier one way! Thanks for any advice, it's hard when learning on your own.
  2. I went into the shop (after warping my last rear) and said I want a bomb proof rear wheel, looked at the stuff and blew loads of money - spur of the moment thing. A year on and it's still as true as the day i bought it, without having to touch a spoke! Oh and it wasn't so I could run discs, I already was, it was just for strength. After face planting a simple 3 foot drop (street) casue of gear failing, I need to trust my equipment.
  3. I'm running bike wrecking Hope minis front AND rear (I know) Make sure you've got disc hubs before you go buying em, I spent a fortune on my rear wheel, Mavic rim on Hope Bulb. The Hopes are nice and modular, never ran Mags etc so can't comment. - apart from V's a $hite
