  1. Anyone know a good place to get some coloured Magura 4-bolt clamps? Cheers dudes, -R-
  2. Yea I agree, faceplant. The thing I'm worried about. If the peak works even a little I might keep my XC helmet instead of going for a dirt lid (and hotter too). -R-

  6. It's the caffeine in coke, A diuretic is a substance that removes water from the body by promoting urine formation and the loss of salt (sodium). Caffeine is a common diuretic although a mild one. I do take money out but costs too bloody much when out all day all week. I drink 1 litre an hour. -R-
  7. I might take a bag but riding sucks round here so got to keep on the move and hate things on my back sweating me out.
  8. Alright guys, Just got specific trials bike and obviously not got any water bottle mounts. I used to take 1 litre out with me, but now are relying on going the shop and buying drinks. Has anyone tried a CamelBak or anything similar? How do you guys stay hydrated cause I sweat like a bitch and need to drink loads. -R-

  14. Alright guys, Me and my mate are trying to learn trials and are over on the Wirral. Will be looking forward to coming over sometime so you can give us some pointers on how the hell to do stuff! It's so crap when you're trying to learn from videos, some pointers would sort us out much quicker; That's if novices are welcome!? (got any pics of riding 'pool?)
  15. Anyone know where I can get a fully built Echo HIFI either from the UK or Europe? Any help, I've searched to no joy (just parts) Thanks -R-
  16. I might try to get down too - even thought I'm a total novice on a poor effort of a tank-cum-trials bike. Worth it just to see some trials guys for real - bit hard learning on your own :P

    Arm Pains

Hi guys, New to trials and am learning pivots etc. My "good" foot is my left so I'm turning my wheel to the right and I notice that when I do, my reach is a little long on my right arm (meaning my right hand has poor contact with the bar) and this seems to 'twist' my arm a little. Even after a very short time out on the bike I have a real bad ache in my right arm, wrist, forearm and elbow. This is mainly noticable after a ride when resting. Does/has anyone else noticed such pains? I'm thinking that I've got too far to reach when out the seat standing - I'm riding a stock with raiser bars and a short flat stem. I can't add any more spacers either so if it is the stem, get one with a raise? Any help/ideas or suggestions very welcome. Cheers.
  18. All points taken and considered, thanks. I'm going out learning to trackstand as part of learning basics, so it's not "just" trackstands.....i'm also trying to learn with my front (and rear) wheel up things - this helps big time with learning weight distribution etc. It's all fun!
  19. WOW, Impressed with all the replies, thanks guys n girls. I wasn't going to take notice of JT casue I could tell he was wrong. I'm really enjoying riding now, after getting pi$$ed off trying stupidly hard stuff, I've gone back to basics and am seeing improvments all the time. Great advice thanks again. -Rob-
  20. Cheers Ali, I guess I'll get right on it! :)
  21. hey guys, Just a quick question, after being out a few weeks learning from scratch (trackstands and pivots) i can trackstand left (good) foot forward fine, but can't right foot forward. Should I be learning to trackstand both ways in order to help pivots and further techniques? cheers
  22. Don't be an idiot I told him to check he already had disc hubs otherwise he's going to have to shell out on new hubs too! Don't get out your pram
