Yea man great, you know the sports also changed a lot since bikes were invented too! Trials is negating an object or series of objects on your bike without touching the floor (depending on the comp rules). I think getting up over passed and down no matter how big small far or wide is all trials. Some tricks seem to be part of trials although not a necessary part of it (not often seen in comps). Big drops is all about balls, tricks is all about technique. What is a trials rider? Do I have to be able to get over a 5' wall before I'm classed as a "trials" rider? Or is it the spirit, the ethos of getting "over" stuff on your bike. Someone learning trials getting up curbs is still a trials rider. To me a good video is about any sized object done with style. I hardly ever see a natural vid on the forum (not that I look that often) and surly THAT's trials?! Street stuff is good, I agree with DeeZee that it's always one trick, edit, trick, edit, or boring stuff. I like to watch good sized things done with style. 35 min is insain, I thought you meant a few secs like! I installed a comp once, and before I installed the firewall it was fekked and had to do a clean install!

You want protection or not? It can't run at the same speed if it's got to check everythings safe. It would take you much longer to reinstall windows and all you docs/files/settings etc if you get something crap on your PC, don't sweat it!

Sweeping statement and I disagree with it. I'm 27 and I know the difference. I also frequently talk to old people who seem very interested in what we're doing. I find it's mostly middle aged people who have a go (and chavs). Also had some police move us off some derelict (private) waste ground and then talked to us with interest for 20 min watching us do tricks. It's not how old they are or what they do, it's just bitter twisted people, or people who are jealous (this probably covers the Chav issue cause all they can do is wear LaCostTooMuch).

Nearly the exact same thing happened to me. Only it was some old hag waving a pair of secetures 4" from my face. If I'd have done that to her I'd end up in jail. I also tried to be calm and rational and she went off on one and I lost my temper. FU@KING TO$$ERS I pay tax too - and pay more tax casue I run my own business who the hell do they think they are!?!

I've been riding for coming up six months, and also have an Echo Control You're better than me, although some of the stuff as you say is after 8mths. Some nice high gaps and drops there matey, hope I progress as well as you. Keep it up fella.

To me it looks like he's got his front wheel on a high curb and then that's all been photoshopped etc out. Not a bad pic if you're trying to be arty but I've seen and done better that encompasses trials. This says nothing about the bike, the rider or the sport. Keep it up though!

You need at least a C in core studies, English and Maths are "normal" requirements. You then need A Levels or equivalents (higher education - or is it further?). Entry is points based - when I done it an A at 'A' Level that was 10 points. I don't know if it's changed. You also need to fill out a UCAS thing. Good luck -R-

Dude me and my mate are 26/27 and have only just started riding trials. He keeps thinking he's old - I don't give a shit I could be 40, so long as I'm healthy, fit and enjoying it. OK so at present I'm overweight as I hadn't ridden anything for a few years, but now getting into it I love it. Keep going, we'll all be old one day, why give up cause you're "old". Have Metallica EtAl given up cause they've got on a bit?
