thanks for the replies. riding is indoor near colwyn bay, and the outdoor spot is in llandullas. the new bike's good, probarbly the best i've ridden - and the closest to a new bike i've ever had! catch up with most of you for rides soon hopefully! Will guilt trip?! i'll have to visit you soon piss lips.

the fact is, a 160mm rotor IS enough for the back. a well set up hope mono trial with a 160mm rotor is so damn good... and even with a 160 i managed to bend my first one. i think i'd rather crap myself than ride with a 203 for fear of hitting it!

been up to ogwen and it's very cold, and icy - with snow on the ground in the carparks. might do a street ride or find some other natty instead...

why even bother kicking up a fuss? gilles is a high end comp rider and must use every small advantage he can to stay on top, if it means wearing suitable clothing, then so be it!

compression bottoms/tights with track trousers over them although i can't say i've tried tights!

plenty strong. and matt, you'll have to get used to it this year
