Spend a lot of time on your back wheel, Traps and lats are well pumped. Trials seems to effect the the back and sides off your body.

When i purchased the bike it was advertised as a DDG shooter special addition(Arctic white and blue) i was buzzin. Still love riding the old girl.

Thanks, Didn't want to start hacking at it and messing up chain and tool. I will run it for a while and let you know how i get on. I am very interested to see if the flat side to the links will make any difference. Anyway i kind of like the hum a norm chain makes on a tensioner.(sorry that sounds so geeky) :$

I have always had trouble getting height on my bike, I thought it was just because it was a tank (DDG shooter) Converted it to single speed last week which was a sucsess (thanks for the tips guys) but i think my gear ratio is not right. I am running 22 front, 14 Back. is this to weak ? Also received my Adamant A1 from Tarty's and other bits and bobs. Can't wait to start new build Any tips would be welcome for current setup and new build. Have used search but very confused

One of the last post i put on i was waiting for a adamant A2 from select, anyway that fell through. (long story) Got some more funds now and when tarty have moved i will be getting my new frame for my new build. I have £300.00 to spend, but can`t decide which frame to get, Adamant A1, Echo control or a Zoo pit bull. I have already decided what colour seam to go for as i have bought a Echo tough bar (red) and a Zoo headset (red). At the moment i am still riding my old D.D.G Shooter witch is a tank. I dont want a high bb frame as they seem to be frowned upon and will be going for a short. Any help would be grateful.

Thanks for the help, sometimes the answer is staring you right in the face. (good old tarty) I have a few bikes and service them often. when working on gears fed up with working upside down and crawling around on the floor. At the moment i can only get out on a Saturday for a few hours :$ Cleaned my bike up mid week and changed gear cable, all was good. Had a session today spent most of my time fcuking about with my gears,well p*ssed off. Time to change to a single. Could anyone advise please, I.E tools i need, parts, and approx cost. I am running sram at the moment with a a eight speed cassete with Onza tango hubs. (OLD SCHOOL OR WHAT) Cheers, Enjoy the weekend.

As i am about to start my new build shortly i am collecting the tools and so on to assist me, but i am sick of crawling about on my knees. Can anyone recommend a cheap work stand. Most attach by the seat post and you all know that there is a lack of postage around here. Thanks.

Sorry to bring this post up again but i don't really understand, please help me out. Question? I use this forum on a regular basis, and to great effect. Thank you to everyone that has helped me out. But i use the search facility often and get the answers i require, hence not many post. witch i assume will not build up validation points. So i use the search and it counts against me. Do you get awarded validation points for using the search facility?

I have a specialized rock hopper(a xc bike) that i use for getting the fitness in with SPD pedals and shoes. I can track stand for fun on my trials bike, but when you are locked in it is a completely different story.

I have found that it feels like you are moving/tucking loads, but when you see yourself doing the move it looks nothing like what it feels like. If you have a camera phone and you ride on your own, film yourself and watch it back, it helps a lot.
