I am running a hope xc hub aswell so every bit of tension helps as the more slak the more noticable worse engagement, i have gone back to mech for the time being until i get a hope pro 2 hub in june then i will be using it as i will have proper fun bolts to clamp it instead of quik release.Thanks for the help guys Clarky

Hi there people, i Recently bought a frsh products tensioner so i put it on my bike and the chain was mega slak under full adjustment so i took a link out of the chain and now the chain wont even go round front and back cog, i have coust btw and i am running single speed one 19 tooth cog on rear and 22 tooth on the front on middleburns the only alternative i can think of is to go back to mech wich i dont want to, or i can could maybe go for smaller cogs Any good advice welcome

The advice i can think of would be to undo the mech bolt wich bolts it onto the hanger and push the mech down making more pressure on the chain? thats what i did although i have gone to fresh products tensioner now. ive bled one with citreon brake fluid it was wank and sluggish very slow at springing back waste of a fiver as people recomended it to me, unrideable had to go back to water
