Recommend Me Some V Pads For The Front (smooth Rim)
streetjibs replied to Tommy d's topic in Trials Chat
http://www.jagwire.com.tw/js909t.htm - i have used these on the front with no grind for years .... top pads could try the red ones below it too! http://www.jagwire.com.tw/js91xc.htm - havent used these... but they look pretty swish and im sure wud be mint! carbon backing is pretty lush too!! hope that helps mate. oh yeah cant remember if i told u or not, but if u use these onthe back with a grind they work insane (light grind is best) and stil remain quiet! (though a booster will assist that to some degree too) gd luck! danny... -
Recommend Me Some V Pads For The Front (smooth Rim)
streetjibs replied to Tommy d's topic in Trials Chat
having used v's on both f&r for years and loving quiet brakes, the best pads iv found are cousts on the rear (with light grind) and on the front (no grind needed) is the JAGWIRE brake pad. Very very cheap and available at most lbs. they work in allconditions and modulate very well (gapping to front always feels controlled and smooth) they're silent and work extremely well. Iv used them on the front and rear of my pashley on the front of my et and currently on the front of my karbon. nothing else is as good imo... its cheap, quiet, long lasting and allows for tons of brake control whilst still stopping on a dime wen needed. hope that helps you danny..... -
right i spent most of the afternoon playng this piece of shit!! too many buttons to press to get therider to do wat is needed was my first problem. make it ezier to do then it is in real life wud be a good start. I foundmyself thinking bout shit way more than i wud if i was ridin it. overall i really cant be arsed with it... f**king annoying and just too complicated controls only ups were - nice sections! after u fall off u can move the bike for a bit without the rider on good choice of frames 3/10 not going to keep playin thats for sure...

I HAVE BRAND NEW WHITE PAIR IN BOX----- UNUSED!! i bought them to see howd theyd go for a change. due to knee injury i havent used the yet. Mostlikely be putting them on for maybe one or two rides depending on if i can putup with them after years of using vees... Im not confident il keep them at this stage. So if your interested... you could get a pair off me that will have only been used for literally 1 or 2 rides!! sorry but the only downside is id prefer to sell as a pair but can discuss if u like... danny. msn - dannyboy@biketrials.com

Ritchey do some pretty decent tyres for front use only! all conditions.. 26x2.35 Zmax Classic pro 578gms.. loads of knobs & good grip levels. for dry only... 26x2.2 Zmin WCS 380gms (i use this on front... only in DRY!) The tryall is less then 800 and 2.0 .. fairly common front tyre, i use this for comps etc is great!!

well after i spent the better part of the day being diagnosed and analysed by doctors after getting xrays of my left knee following a small but painful incident whilst riding last night. The xrays show that ive broken in half my patella bone and fractured bone surrounding the suprapateller pouch. Basically my knee is the size of a dinner plate and movement severly limited. On pain killers, anti-inflammetarys, 3/4 leg splints and gettin around on crutches. I return to hospital tomorrow to be assessed for surgery and have been worned that best case scenario im out of action for 6-8 weeks and will have to take it very easy after that and worse case scenario im going to lose mobility and range of movement through the knee joint. If it turns out its worst case scenario... riding will be out of the picture for some time... months to a year. Similar to Steve Marsh i would imagine. (he had knee reconstruction) Anyways the real reason for my post is to let people know that it doesnt take much to put u out of action and in this case it might be the begginning of the end for me. If so there will be a koxx karbon and lots of bits up for sale !! hehe there's always an upside cheers danny
