  1. i think it's the softer one, i'll check when i'm home. it's good+grippy though
  2. slags, specialised escars are where it's at i managed to pinch mine last weekend, after 5 months of abuse. it only went cause i was experimenting with pressure...
  3. king headset dual BB7 power to do list: new front rim nokon cables trialtech stem and bars
  4. It would be better to make it optional, this year is to short notice which is a shame cause i might have had the 44 trial frame that month but i'd be deffinatley up for 2010 what would the cost be, minus comp entry?
  5. no money this year, but i'd love to get my name down to do it next year if it works out ok this time round of course. I'm more casual rider, do you have to compete? or can you just pay some entry and play on all the rocks etc when theres no serious competitions on?
  6. i ride dual disk stock i'm prety heavy too (16 stone ) and i really don't notice any flex with it, i'm on a simtra with a bb7 203mm disc the hold is silly and i like not having to faf about when i take my rear wheel out. msn me if you want any more questions answering, i don't see me going to magura any time soon.
  7. theres a video floating around of some mode rider gapping to front with one of them floating rotors and it sheared off on all the alloy bits he was fine but it's not worth the weight saving/bling for increased risk of failure.
  8. the important question, is the disc mount trialsable?
  9. it's a psychological thing, bigger disk automaticaly makes you assume more power similar to having a loud brake, only it's a visual confirmation instead of a sound, if i went back to mods i would run 185 f+r minimum (but being a tart i'd ramp the rear mount to 203 )
  10. theres one in my local shop, it'll be fine to start on buy you should look to upgrade the rear hub ideally to a hope pro 2 trials hub, if there out of your budget look at buying a fixed rear hub you can attach a freewheel to, and then buy a tensile freewheel
  11. after you've serviced it, do a fitting guide for extra brownie points?
  12. be complete whore and get a 203mm bb7?
  13. you don't need to contact them for returns? just print a sheet of thier website, i was amazed how fast they sorted me out
  14. ebay can be risky, if you wait till you become a member look in the fs/wnted threads you can get some ace bargains
  15. buy 2nd hand, you can get some epic bargains, try to find some local trials riders, they'll help you learn and progress faster, and most of the lads on here know trials bikes like the back of thier hand they will be able to check out any 2nd hand bikes. if your keen on buying new i'd advise you stretch your budget to the onza pro it'd be well worth it, as it has a much better freewheel (unless the bird has a tensile one?) and dual disk brakes which are (in my opinion) far better than rim brakes.

    Royal Fail

i had a wait on the flash i bought, but i complained + got my postage cost refunded and 5% off the cost so i'm not complaining, still annoying as hell though.

    Rage Bar 09

I realise no ones had a long time (if any yet) to play with the new rage bars but how did you find the old ones? are they strong cause i'm sure i've heard of a few sets dying? would i be better getting trial techs? i'm not a weight saving whore and i prefer strength.
  18. i'd love a 24" with tgs geo + appearance smaller wheels would save a bit of weight and make it abit flickier, like a big mod. but with a bit more stability from the larger wheels. someday it'll happen, but not untill 24"s are used in competitions meaning the big names will have an interest in making them.
  19. that the vinco from lincoln? i loved that bike haha
  20. ahh yeah, madness. you got msn? we should organise a ride.
