i was concerned about going to a little stem when i got a streety bike, after 5 years of TGS barge poles and big stems i went to the other end of the stick and got a 70x35 stem with TT high rise bars, such a lovely combination for a flicky ride, and if i'm honest i'm gapping as big, tapping almost as high, if you're getting a streety bike, commit to the idea and get the right parts that suite the build. this is on a zoot btw, and if you thihnk buying a streety bike to focus on pure trials you could be doing it wrong...

makes no sence, i used to do the same run 2 years ago, what i do on the running machine is far more intense

last night and tonight i've been running on roads (spent the last 4 months doing 5k a day on a treadmill, now i'm temporarily gymless) anyway on my 2nd night of running my calves are hurting like f**k, well i say calves, i presume it's tendons cause the pain is below the main bulge of muscle, any thoughts?

wouldn't anodising affect the surface where the bb would sit so it'd be all tight and shit? or is it a negligible amount of difference?

re the magura mount being threaded, you can put a jubilee clip around it (with a bolt in it still) and tighten it up like that, helps to have a booster though. trials bikes are a shit to maintain, or my first bikes seemed to be, eventually you'll collect some better parts and you're problems will start to diminish but entry level bikes will always be tricky, it's just how it is.

my money is on the first shot being boob a poll could be fun....

use your imagination/just do it... b+q has a 3 for 2 on spray paints atm, so you can actually afford some decent paint..

shoes are covered, my only comment for any of the larger members of the tf community who browse this and think running is a good idea, look up some decent compression shorts these/similar.... if you have any issues with chafing these quickly sort it

creepy knowledge of my bike there, 16-12 is harder than the 18-15 zoots come out the box with, and even with a sloppy chain i've never had any skips, although i've got an ashton frame to ride now and i'm a little concerned about chain wrap now out of interest what're you brakeless boys and the rest of the 24" fraternity using?
