  1. cool. i never knew anything was going on. i'm not very up to date with my trials news. i've only just got a new trials bikes. got info on it? a website link would be cool. thanks
  2. i dont know if many of you ride bmx as well but if you do then your know of something called 'battle royale'. its just a big session in dedicated riding spots around one city. i cant remeber how many riders turned up for the last one but it was alot! point is, why not do it for trials. having 50+ trials riders cruising about the city at designated spots would be so cool. it would be a day to remeber. i know i couldnt organise such an event but if everyone put their heads together then it could happen this summer. i would think bristol or birmingham would be ideal. just think of it. wouldnt take much organising, the only thing would be choosing an ideal day and date and having the weather hold out. it wouldnt need to be official and maybe if enough people were in then the small rider owned companies might throw in some goodies. good idea.. or should i stick to bmx?
  3. everyone loves that question or the question 'why is your seat so damn small'. least you wont have to explain to the same person again and you've also saved another rider from explaining it to the same person. well at least the bike looks least attractive to a chav or opportunist thief. have you ever noticed in citys that the bikes locked up never have saddles?
  4. I agree with the 90% of people here. One finger for control. Your brake should be set up so you can use one finger confidently. Allot of bmxers use two fingers purely for the fact that bmx brakes aren't the best. Although people are now disputing the fact that bmx brakes are rubbish these days.
  5. Emittily the pedals have really good unsealed bearing and a strong axle. the weight on them isnt too bad either. indeed 20 quid well spent. i have however seen them break. the pedal body is only a 7k series alloy which makes them brittle. dont let that put you off them as you do have to wack them pretty hard on a wall for them to snap! Vp's for £12 are certainly a good investment. they shouldnt snap but will bend. they offer alot of grip as well. those are the ones im running
  6. i got the ehco lite 06 model. i built it up with some new stuff and some older stuff from my monty x-hydra 97 bike! it rides real nice and side hops rediculously high. it is very light compared to my older frame. a price tag of around £220. ive had it only a little while and since i ride bmx, it doesnt get ridden very smoothly and have had no problems yet. good, well priced bike + looks cool!
  7. <snip> for admin... i realise that im not supposed to post for sale, want stuff in this section. but well i have waited along time to be turned into a real member. it hasnt happened and im need of some trials parts. cheers Mod Edit: So that makes it okay then? Beacuse you know you're breaking the rules...
  8. always depends on how you set it up. flex happens not just in the pads but on the frame as well. learn to tweek a break and you could run a xtr with some medium compound pads, greased cable and a ground rim with astonishing power. just have a play with it one night in the shed with the music blasting so you cant hear the rain outside!
  9. I listen to most stuff but punk and metal is my fav at the moment. Lovin' Rancid and At the Gates!
