Sections were great thanks to Lois Morgans dad. You are a legend as ever, it is a shame you are not around the scene as much nower days Garry you will be missed. The trial was a complete shambles. 1 NO loos for the ladies. 2 NO observers (had to pull 1 section up) 3 NO butty van and nowt for miles around 4 NO official first aider 5 NO officials at all from what I could see. 6 No scrutinising of bikes (they did it at Hook Woods ????) 8 ONLY thirty odd riders there. If this is what the British trials championship has to offer then it is a very very very poor do. It has cost a lot of people a lot of time and money to get to this venue. The venue itself was very good. However the trial was no more than a very badly run club trial. I am fully aware of how hard it is to run these events, i was heavily involved in the trial at Blackpool last week, what a contrast that is all I will say....... JP

Some body mentioned that results had not been sent out from round 1, and god damn he's right, I haven't had any results from Hook Woods. Were they sent out with the entry form to round 2 ?? If they were then that would explain it because I never got that blumming Royal Mail.. Robbie will most prob be going round with young Jonty, I just hope there is more than the usual 2 white route riders this week. Come on IOLO you need to be there then us Northerners can stick it to the Taffies (safety in numbers and all that.) We could do with some propper directions and some campsite info as Boyes and us will be coming down in the Venga buz on Sat. Looking forward to it, see you all there John "n" Rob

I was that man with the little lad on Sat, who would have thought we were gonna get that sort of sun on Sunday. Well done Babara, only a few of us actually know how hard you worked to pull this one off. Enjoy your break for a month and enjoy the wedding, you deserve it. When is somebody gonna put some pics up. Miss Blackpool told me that she is gonna have a go next year if she can get a bike Maybee me and her can double up on my bike and my helmet ah-hem This one is gonna take some beating it was the best event I have had the pleasure in setting up and helping out with, even though I endede up observing section 4 for and hour or two while Fred took some pics. No duobt Babara will be as speedy as ever with the results. Wach out on Biketrial UK for them. Thanks again all you were a credit to our sport. P.S. My bloody head is really hot today I look as though I have been apple bobbing in boiling water. OUCH !!! :$ :$ JP

What a weekend that has been. 30 foot waves on Sat washing us away, then a heat wave on Sunday, get in!!!!!! My head is burnt to frazzle. From the feedback we have had so far it looked as though we had a big result. Thanks you lot who rode and watched, Well done Boyes, you are fast becoming a legend. Did any one see those old dears near section 4 clapping you all and saying things like ""young man"" ""oh do be careful"" they were awesome and they made my day. Cheers all JP

When I saw that wall the other day and Wayne told me akrigg was riding it I could not get my head round it, it is MAHOOOOOOOOSIVE but the tyre marks tell it all, somebody has been up it and I can assure you it wasn't me. JP

Just had a chat with Babara about entries. I will not name and shame anyone BUT a few of the regular TF users and die hard "sponsored" comp riders seem NOT to have got there act together and sent there entry to Barbara. I would love it this week end for Barbara not to have to sit under the gazebo all day doing paper work, and just for once be able to get in amongst us all and enjoy the fruits of her hard work and watch a trial as it happens. She has got so much work to do for this one it is untrue. Entries, council, lord mayer, accommodation, trophies, flags, first aid blah blah blah !!!!! Come on lads you know who you are. Give her a fighting chance on this one PLEASE it is not hard to do just click on the numerous links on here and do it now it must be easy because I even managed to do it. Any way rant over for today more tomorrow no doubt. :$ See you all there on Sunday. Can't wait. !!!!!!!!! JP

Does that mean your gonna help on Sat Ian JP

We have not had our entry through the post yet. What is going on . I can not print one out as I have no printer at the moment. I haven,t even been sent any results from the last one yet. Have we been missed or has any one else had any results or an entry form the next one. Come on please sort it out, this is supposed to be the ""official British championship"" people need time to get sorted. Thank you and sorry if it has just been a mistake and we have been missed out. JP

Iye lad get em up lets see some more. Look pretty good to me pal. Need to ride this week bell me booth and wayne

I don't give a toss who was doing it way back when or whatever. I have seen that wall and any man sick enough to hit that at the speed needed to get up is an absolute LEGEND, it is huge and one hell of an ankle breaker. Chris AkKrig is very sadly missed in comps in my opinion his style is very special. He may not get the results but to watch him is a real inspiration. JP

What a day. thrills, spills, tears, sun, rain laughs the whole lot. A great venue. We will be back. Thanks to all the people who made it happen, the section setters, glamorous sining on girls, Babara, butty van (we will be seeing you again ((ah-hem)) most of all, you lot for turning up (even if you didn't listen to the trial pre briefing and you caused lots of queues because you didn't bother to ride in the correct order ) Last and by no means least......The OBSERVERS, without you we can not carry on. Savage I will one day just one day take 1 measly point off you even if I have to push you off. JP

Here is the exact spot that the trial is at. Park over the road in the car park. See you there should be a real blast. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&a....00825&z=17

7 sections set out thanks to Andy Boyes, Brian legend Wright (you are getting soft in you old age) Niel "Rave on" Raven and the two lancashire Matts. The sections are a little different to normal because of the land, and we wanted to have a trial that was a little bit less "hip hop" and more "ride your bikes". I can't wait to hear all of the red route riders complain about the section in the gully No2 if I remember We hope you all enjoy it tomorrow. But if you don't then please coller me tomorrow and tell me as feedback from you lot will only help us make it spot on for you lot. see you all bright and early tomorrow. JP
