I used to use it, but now i don't bother now i have a grind, i used these black pads when i got my grind and then i sprayed the monty spray all over my rim, and it made my rim look rank, when i braked the pad just became a powder, i reckon it's only good if you have a smooth rim, it doesn't ruin your pads as bad, but still holds well. But yeah, get a grind, so much better, or just using tar

T-cut or Brasso has always worked for me, cleaning it with water then petrol has worked for me also, get's it all nice and shiny, then topped it off with T-cut.

No, you have to use the correct oil, im not sure why, but i think it's to do with the seals, and how dense the oil is, or something along those lines. EDIT: bugger you beat me

Yeah, if you do a search you'll find my topic about them, and I put some pictures up as well. All you do is take your back wheel off, and do a fast scoring action all the way around using quite a bit of pressure to make it score deep.

Stanley knife, or a real harsh file. The file lasts longer, but isn't as harsh as the stanley knife, which works like a beast, but takes ages to do.

I was at a random show about 3-4 years ago with loads of different things there, and i saw a saracen m.a.d van with Tim Pratt and Chris Townsend i think doing some trials, i got a poster from that which was cool. I guess thats what inspired me mostly.
