  1. Obviously, with the recession I know it's difficult, this was more aimed at people that haven't gone to university. I've applied to hundreds of jobs now, with nothing ever coming of them. I don't know if it's because I'm aiming too high with little experience under my belt, but it's hard enough getting a job right down at the bottom of the food (or job) chain. I think my problem is I'm not brilliant at anything in particular (or I haven't found what that thing is yet) but I'm good at everything, which doesn't narrow down what industry to go into. So, anyone else in the same situation? Any tips? Discuss.

  3. I had an SJ for my first car, it was unreliable, old, cold, wet, noisy and smelt of smoke. I loved it.
  4. One foot in front of the other, wash, rinse, repeat. That should get the ball rolling.
  5. Mole grips are possible the best tool ever, closely followed by a big hammer, flathead screwdriver, adjustable spanner, and grinder. Sorry, don't think I can add anything useful to the topic by the way.
  6. Bought a Carrera Subway Zero, can't complain for the price at all. Fixie is f**king dangerous though, had a few close misses.
  7. But for a cheap, decent 4x4/play toy they'd be perfect, it's not like he's going to need it to be a competition winch machine, so approach angle/HUGE tyres and the odd ( ) bit of rust will be fine.
  8. Likewise, you could get decent sj's/vitara's for the same sort of money which are tax and tested, also check out dyhatsu fourtraks, they seem alright off-road. You could probably pick up a decent disco for not much mullar either, I seem to remember when I was looking for a new 4x4 I could find them tax and tested between 600-1500, which looked like they'd be fun off-road. Ah, almost forgot, definitely have a look at old range rovers, you can literally pick them up for pennies.
  9. Tax and tested (or road worthy) you'll be looking at quite a bit, unfortunately lame rovers hold their price very well. You could always look at alternative 4x4's, as you can pick up some pretty cheap tax and tested and be able to still have bags of fun at pay and play sites or just green laning. If we know your sort of price range we'll be able to help you out a lot better.
  10. I was under the impression in the probation period you only had 6 points, then after the 2 years it goes up to 12?
  11. Watching Kidulthood, it's actually unbelievably shit.

I'd literally be happy with one of them!
  13. They look one look at me and saw that I didn't need it numbing. Reppin' tf5 cru.
  14. Mine was sore for about 2 weeks after it got pierced, didn't have mine numbed because I'm such a man too. I stretched mine 3mm with an allen key (which was new and I had cleaned) and then stuck a plug in it, but then it was really awkward to eat with so changed back to an 8mm bar.
  15. I actually thought you meant me then, before I read the youtube links.
  16. Let her come over, fanny is fanny at the end of the day.
  17. Yeah it's definitely not worth that at all.
