Im trying to get to the bottom of the problem I have about deciding on a new setup.... things I discovered are that the norco geo is; Top tube 22.40" Head angle 72 chainstays 404mm Wheelbase 1017mm Fork Length 372mm ???? dont understand that size? seems a little bit....mad pashley Top tube: 22" head angle 72 Chain stays: 407mm Wheelbase: 1045mm (with the straight blade forks) Leech bike has the same head angle of 72........Is a shorter wheelbase...BUT, the top tube is longer ? I dont get it? Stays are 3 mm longer which wont make any diff at all but its way way shorter which defeats the object of my getting a longer frame to help ideas. Dont know what the wheelbase of my bike is as I have the tv series forks on...around 1040 id say..405 mm fork

dont bloody read them then, everyone has their own opinions, thats one thing that makes us human, I have my opinions but wish to get other peoples as you might pick up something you didnt know......Your not obliged to read my posts, so .........DONT

not that hard?? You been on railway lines and tried what he does? Try that then come back and tell me how not that hard it is....Kranked 3 etc, all the extras on the manifesto vid, Hes done some SICK moves that are very hard..... What style of riding do you ride?
-
Yeah, control is the word, and amazing too. Leech.....Rulez.........Great concept for a trials film....Better than the boring zoo vids on the web and other people who ride these comp style bikes, big hops, drops and gaps and thats it. :turned:
-
I agree, but if Im riding site at the time, I just think wearing a helmet attracts attention even more....I just dont feel right wearing one.. BUT I do think it looks way better wearing it especially on vids. Looks more professional..If I go out for 20 mins on the bike, usually I dont wear it, but if the cams out I do.. Strange I know. My dad always says wear it unless you will end up in a wheelchair/brain damaged or whatever, cant do trials in a wheelchair. Maybe I will just wear it all the time...... :turned:

Ryan and Jeff :turned: (Y) :P I think their style rules! All my inspiration comes from them two guys...

so if a BMX'er is riding street then thats street trials??? You lost me there??? People riding street on trials bike I mean, nichols_sam said street trials IS trials, I was just adding to his comment
-
I was asking if they would work on my bike and be ok with the geo etc as I wasnt that sure People get very shirty about street trials not being trials. What is it with these people?? Trials snobs.... Ive said before that trials is WAY more than just hopping around on rocks and riding from point A to point B through tapes in under 2 mins without putting your feet down. Trials is whatever you want you make it, in the street, woods, moors, parks...Whatever you want, theres no limit on what you can ride. Why do stuck up people insist on pigeon holing trials into strict catagories??? "Oh thats not trials" ERm I think you will find it is.....

I had that problem of snapping bb's like carrots. Had no problems since I got my raceface northshore XS splined. They are great! I use a raceface bb and has been fine since I got it a year ago. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=902 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=903 Raceface is really great stuff, Id certainly recommend anything from them...It wont let you down.

I feel restricted if I wear anything like that, just dont like them....Even a helmet I dont often wear one of them either.... Suppose I should, depends how Im riding. If I aint id for a while a dont bother as I aint gona hurt myself because I aint gona push, but as I get back into it I feel I have to wear a lid as the danger increases
-
nar, people like you butt in wid comments like that shit stirring........ yeah suppose theres always ebay to flog em if their crap huh. Might buy em off there off someone who thinks their crap already ha
-
what you said is coblers then as Im talking about suspension for trials
-
As I said your supposed to mod them for trials

C...H........A.........v? Cant stand people who throw their bikes around when they cant do sumet, just makes them look stupid. Saw a few people at comps doing it, just makes them look like knobs....Childish knobs A Norco is even shorter than my bike AND you cant get em in the UK...so thats a problem....But I do like them and they are designed for sus forks so maybe a good idea.... Have to consider that...Maybe... Maybe a short echo control 05...... hm...........? As for the longer new style bike thing, its not just the advantages of a longer frame with a short back end for back wheel action Im thinking about, its the stiff rear brakes with the cnc stuff welded on AND the fact you can run a mega WIDE rim on the back which will give great grip at the back, and disc forks with a hope mini on to give a great front brake too.... And they look kool as too....
-
Well, the jury is out im afraid...I dont know. Been thinking about swapping for a long time, then went off the idea, then back..... Most people have been saying that the new style bikes are no good for me....so..... What can I say..
-
no i aint, akrigg is...... Koxx CAISSO Replica 2005 supposed to be good, more traditional geo......any good?? Has longer stays than most comp bikes 390 mm
-
Yeah but I will get the piss ripped, haha u ride koxx, hmm anyway.,I have saw him, but wouldnt say he was aggressive tough....................... :P
-
I wouldnt really wana lock em out, just run em all the time...mx comps like leech, shrinked down to 50mm travel though...should keep the front down a bit
-
Yeah righto
-
I aint goin to another comp...Not the next round or this year anyway, stick to my street as Im at home doing that...Anyway hmm..
-
I did ride with sus on for about a year, on a diff bike, I think it wil suit my style
-
Anybody know the length of a 85mm travel mx comp fork??????
