Pures look crap though, I cant believe that the geo makes that much diff in terms of what moves u can do on the bike

As I said I want a new frame, I ride a 26mhz which I think may be too short, People have been saying the new style zoo, echos etc will be no gud for me, but I think a shorter version, eg 1060 zoo or 1065 echo with a normal riser bar and 90mm stem setup on would work just fine? That sound about right?? With a nice short back end it may feel better than a long back end as I have now............... Surley if these new bikes feel great on the back wheel, then hopup manuals etc must be a breeze???

Nar I think if you are creative you can do much more than you think, much more than the same poeple keep doing too. Big hops etc might look good but in reality the technical ability required to nail a very tricky line or whatever is more impressive to me...Think Ryan Leech and railways...

I think Ive found a frame that would be spot on for my style, The Kenny Belaey KOXX http://tartybikes.co.uk/image.php?image=belaeyframe.jpg What do you people think??? 380mm stays 10mm bb rise 1080mm wheelbase for a 6'4 tall rider that sounds alright Depends on the head angle though, does anyone know what it is?? Bit of a shit colour like....

Guess not

Ive totally gone off the ashton bike now as Ive heard a few stories about them not being strong, should have used U6 alu or sumet, Instead of 7005 or whatever

I agree totally, yeah big moves, so what. The new style bikes and people who ride them just seem to do the same kinda moves...It is boring...................... :ermm: Not very creative. That style of riding dont float my boat or sink my sub im afraid....

These are stEEp!! I think I sport Marc chaisso on his signature frame french dude, not sure if it is him or not, some good accurate riding on this flick, I remember seein a comp with him at Berci on sky, was kool...Years and years ago mind you. Know any other good vids? Post the link up here and spread the word..... http://www.biketrials.com/down.php3?/video...ips/elite26.wmv

Kool, I really like the look of it, looks really neat, tidy welds too. But I dont think its suited to my streety/Ryan Leech type style?????? Certainly a kool looking bike for sure

Not a shame to me, they are total arseholes. If the factory burnt down I would :- How talls your mate wid the zoo 1060??? I think they might be too short for me in that size, I need to know the top tube length so I can compare with my bike, thats the only way I can get an idea. They have a longer wheelbase and a very short back end but mine is opposite to that.....Long back short front but is the longer wheelbase anything to do with the headangle more than the top tube, ie the head angle on my pashley is 72 so a 71 would feel diff. Would that give more room or less...Would slow the feel of the steering up also? A steeper angle would make the top tube longer but the wheel base shorter and slack make the toptube shorter and wheelbase longer........? BUT then I wonder how that is affected by the BB height, the higher the BB the more over the front u feel so the less room you have? Anyone know what I mean?

not suit, whys that????

I do mine with a chain tool, just grap a few links and pull them together until your mec is 90 or more past vertical, swinging towards the cranks/front of bike. Just dont go too far unless it will become too tight and not spin freely...so thats Pinch 2 links, 1 in each hand to where you want it to end up Get your chain tool and push the pin on one side until its almost out, take out the outer link of the other side, then simply couple the ends up, turn the tool around and push the pin back in. If you find the link is too tight and mangles up when it passes through the mec, just grab the chain at the side with the top facing up, hold near the tight part and simply wiggle it back and forth bending the chain slightly to loosen the link.... bobs ur uncle, fannys your auntie pezza piss Will stop your bike sounding like a shopping trolley. If the chain is nice and tight, think Ryan Leechs bike, proper shopping trolley noises, get rid of it, shorten your chain Will not give the bike a quicker response as you will still have the same amount of links running across the top of your chain no matter how short it is, but really holds it nice and looks neat, dont go too far because if you snap your chain you will not be able to reconnect it for obvious reasons Oh almost forgot, do this when your bike is in "Trials gear" not "Going to the shop gear" as it will be fooked if you take them out in shop mode as it will not shift up to trials gear..... hm......And ensure you push the pin back in equally..... To prevent it mangling on the pin....

Looking at echo control on the echo website, Im just reading about the Urban forks, it says 400mm fork blades, offer a low stem position. why would a low stem postion be better suited to street style riding? Thought a higher stem would be better? Also will these forks work with the echo control frame???? Why cant you ride street style on a modern comp style/shape bike? Hop up manuals, rail balance lines, bollard gaps, 180s, 180 ups, front wheel pivots, bunnyhops, thats what I ride. I mean why not, people say hoooo no you want a short frame for that. Im just considering a new frame but theres not many street style bikes out there, all the hype seems to be about the modern designs like Echo, ZOO, etc etc Trials in my opinion should not be pigeon holed into ' Street/bmx style and Strictly Comp style' Trials spans further than just 2 styles so I would have thought a new style bike would be good for anything and everything. Am I totally wrong and off the mark here or what? Anybody agree?
